What are the requirements for the A++ rating anyway?

No to really little bloodloss I believe.

Is time also important, or just the bloodloss?
Is time also important, or just the bloodloss?
I'm not sure actually, but it should depend on bloodloss I believe?
I mean... I'm a bit curious since I've managed the "Sweet Blashpemy" achievement on the brain transplant where you have to lose less than 600ml... but I got an A so I assume I have to either do it in even less bloodloss, or less than 600ml and also in under a minute which is the requirement for the "How long can you live without a brain" achievement.
Time isn't accounted for, I let my Mum have a go and she just kept slapping him around the face for about 7 minutes, before I showed her what to do, and I got an A in the Ambulance heart transplant.
World record for the fastest brain transplant - 12 seconds.

Holy shit
[editline]26th April 2013[/editline]
You know what kind of a multiplayer would be cool?
Player 1 does the surgery and player 2 drives the ambulance.
It would be a competitive mode. Player 2 tries to get to the hospital before player 1 finishes the surgery, and player 1 tries to finish the surgery before the ambulance reaches the hospital.
Forces affecting the inside of the ambulance and the distance to hospital would be adjusted so that its balanced.
Or simply 2 doctors operating on a single patient as a coop.

The two hands thing would be awesome really. Or maybe there could be two side by side surgeries and you can fling shit over at your buddy. Or hell they could implement all three... :v:

You each get one kidney to replace :v:

As long as the hammer is still on the table.

Not very likely IMO. Coding a driveable ambulance would be like coding an entire new game, it's nothing like any of the gameplay that's already in the game and it has nothing at all to do with surgery. Furthermore it would probably be very hard to balance two such different types of gamemodes to be fair when competing.
Or simply 2 doctors operating on a single patient as a coop.
This is more likely. Only not 2 doctors, but 1 player per hand. One player controls Nigel's Left hand, the other player controls Nigel's Right hand. You work together to fix the patient, and you control one side each, the right hand can not move to the opposite side of the left hand and vice versa. This would be the most logical way for Coop to work in this game without radical new mechanics.
2 doctors is unlikely, unless you're talking about 2 floating left hands each representing their own doctor. If you're thinking about something like another doctor standing on the opposite end of the surgery table... not very likely since it would require extensive modeling and animating, and Nigel doesn't even have an official appearance yet aside from his hands.
Hey man it ain't about likelihood, it's about coolness

That would be pretty cool too.

Eh, I like to not get my expectations up unnecessarily high. I'll rather be positively surprised than disappointed.
Why does my ambulance double kidney transplant marked as incomplete? I completed it two times, got to space station, have a diploma...

My ambulance heart transplant also did that when I had completed it several times.
I'm sure I saw patch notes stating that this was because of a Steam Cloud issue, and they've disabled Steam Cloud for the meantime - but I can't find it now. Anyway, try that.
On the topic of the "one player operates, one player drives" mechanic, you could simulate it by having a button to make the objects "hop" like it hit a speed bump (with varying intensity or tilt), as well as open the door. Might need another mouse or keyboard, though, for comfort. But it sure would be hilarious.
How do i get an A++ in regular heart surgery?
Is time really irrelevant?

Eh. It wouldn't even be the same type of game as the rest of it, so I really don't think you should count on it.
It's a bit like expecting a rts dlc for a fps game, it's not what the game is about and it's not what the developers are experienced with developing.

only remove the left side of his ribcage (on your right) and only remove his other lung to get to the heart. Stop any bleeding early. Try to be quick. That should get you an A++.
Well, thats what gave me an A++ anyway.
Welp v:v:v
Bob doesn't like taking fire extinguishers to his head. He lasted only 1 second!

Holy shit I didn't know you could even do that. Is it repeatable or was it just some random physics oddity that killed him so fast?
"OH! WHAT HAVE I DONE! OH GOD, OH GOD NO!"
They call me Doctor Houdini.

How do you break the skull cleanly? I can't do it with the hammer, i always end up doing quite a bit of damage even when I'm very careful. I tried using the laser and I can do so so with it, but there's obviously some problems with that option.
You're supposed to use the buzzsaw around the bottom edges and then lift the skull off.

It's repeatable. Just hurry and grab the extinguisher and smash his face. Might take a few tries, though.
I've found the laser to actually be quite effective at separating the top of the skull, you just have to be careful not to hold it in one spot for too long and not to hit his face.

Yeah... I used this method both for the "Sweet Blasphemy" and the "And they said it was impossible!" achievement :v:.
It's a very accurate and clean way of doing it, it just leaves almost no room what so ever for error.
In the kidney surgery, why does Bob have blood loss when i saw his bones?
That doesn't happen on the Heart Surgery.
