Last video from me probably :v: 23 second brain transplant run:
This game is crazy fun, but a little overpriced imo. Not much replayability. A friend's started an LP of this, mind if I post the first episode here?

Do it and you're going on my hit list, I will track you down by backtracing your IP and then late at night I will strike. I will strike with such vengeance that your household and everyone inside will feel the full force of the my wrath. You will be so fucked up from your injuries that not only will you want to commit Sudoku but you will wish you never posted on these forums. [sp]I joke, post it :D[/sp]

How's the replayability with this game? I'm gonna have to make a decision between this and witcher 2.
How's the replayability with this game? I'm gonna have to make a decision between this and witcher 2.
Witcher 2 for sure.
How's the replayability with this game? I'm gonna have to make a decision between this and witcher 2.
This game is tons of funs, and there's a lot of challenging achievements and lots of different ways to do surgery... However it currently only has 7 different levels, so you can play through it pretty quickly.
Do we know if more levels will be released?
Do we know if more levels will be released?
Well...
-Will there be DLC? Who knows?
That's sadly all we have for an official answer at the moment Here's some good news however
Eternz [developer] 20 hours ago So I'm the voice of Nigel and we actually had a lot of audio recorded for the full game, we also had audio for the ambulance driver. It was done quite late in development however and the game started leaning towards a more sinisiter dark humour instead of the more slapstick nature of the game jam version. Because of this we started to prefer Nigel as a silent protaganist and we found players were projecting their own personalities onto the character so decided to go with that instead.

Quick Fingers [developer] 18 hours ago Hey there, as Eternz said earlier, the voices are already recorded, I'm up for putting them in and defaulting them to off so if people want them they can turn them on. Look out for an update soon :)
:D
Hooray, time for more "Oh god, what have I done?!?"
hope you can turn it off, half of the fun in this is playing the role of the doctor ambulance guy going nuts at you trying to do a transplant sounds cool though
Bossa Studios Ltd [developer] Apr 19, 2013 @ 7:36pm It's funny you say that, we were chatting about that the other day...thinking...what if we could do it.... We may not, but if there's the slightest chance we CAN - we may give it a go. What does everyone else think? Would you like that?
It seems pretty likely that they're going to be continuing work on the game with these type of comments [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline]
hope you can turn it off, half of the fun in this is playing the role of the doctor
Yup. A lot of people suggested it as toggleable in options
I'm up for putting them in and defaulting them to off so if people want them they can turn them on
If they ever do more surgeries through DLC or updates, I would love some stuff where instead of a transplant, you gotta take something out, like an arrow, bullets or even a rebar stuck on someone's back, or operations that require insertion of new limbs like a mechanical arm or something. I don't mind them also going to crazier stuff too like a jab at Trauma Center with a super crazy virus you gotta smash or laser the hell out of.
They could do an expansion pack in which you preform various surgeries on animals, there are lots of possibilities for this game.
|What about moddability? I'd love to mod the fuck out of this
I think they've said that they're sticking to transplants though, because there's more challenge to operating to remove and replace than just to remove Why the dumb rating? If my memory serves me right that's what they said, and it makes quite a lot of sense to me.
Does anyone else inject the patient with the syringe on their face? I find it the easiest place to do it.
I do too, just jab him in the eye until he stops bleeding
Looks delicious. Ended up having to scoop out the kidneys with the spoon. [img_thumb]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/578986940957659771/455139CCACFB4DEE67AC9E2DFF6DBB53829E3761/[/img_thumb]
I'm really hoping for mod support, just to screw around with instrument properties. Razor-sharp plastic spoons and 10-ton hammers!
I want a hardcore mode where you have to put all the old organs you removed back in too. Should be fun in the ambulance :v:
I think they've said that they're sticking to transplants though, because there's more challenge to operating to remove and replace than just to remove
Yes because throwing the heart into the chest takes skill. the only awkward one was the kidneys, since orientation doesn't matter transplanting is easy
Yes because throwing the heart into the chest takes skill. the only awkward one was the kidneys, since orientation doesn't matter transplanting is easy
At least dropping something in is an easy way to be finished, but if the game ended when you removed something you'd still be holding it in your hands in the patients chest. Furthermore, it would be less complicated than keeping check of the new organs to replace it with after you've removed the old ones, you're removing a step in the surgery and making the surgery less challenging.

Oh my god I only just got it. Nigel is just a secretary and flipping through the schedule he falls asleep because of the pills he takes and imagines himself as the hero doctor. That's why the surgeries are always so inaccurate and haphazard.
Oh yeah, blue syringe is evil. Idk what it is supposed to be but it increases blood loss.
I'd assume it's adrenaline, and the green one is anesthetic. Also, relevant.
Now I just want a 2-player version of this. One player controls one hand.
There needs to be a storyish kinda mode, Like you get called to certain locations to do stuff at that time, Like you get called to a Hotel or a Gas Station or something.
There needs to be a storyish kinda mode, Like you get called to certain locations to do stuff at that time, Like you get called to a Hotel or a Gas Station or something.
I think the appeal of the game is its simplicity. That sounds a bit complicated to portray.
