That means that IF your are able to find one you can play it and use the CD Key for the flair. Learn2Read
i did read it wrong, rate bad reading.
Shame that the Marathon and Halo flair can't also merge into some actual Bungie Fan emblem.
$11 at amazon, plus shipping [editline]11:15PM[/editline] also, i bet the spartan helmet is either beat game on legendary or myth
Well this sucks. I've played every Halo game created, and I won't get the Halo 1 flair, Halo 2 flair, or the "HALO" flair, because I changed my gamertag on the 360 from the original Xbox. :saddowns:
Same here man, same here...
[sp]But Bungie specifically referred to them as Heretic Elites. Seems to me that we'll be seeing the Heretics return at some point.[/sp]
[sp]They are most likely non-canon and just make it easier for the player to aquire human weapons.[/sp]
He probably means the word halo. [img_thumb]http://www.bungie.net/images/News/BungieBlog/nameplateimages.jpg[/img_thumb]
I can only get a maximum of five of those. I didn't play the beta and I didn't play Halo 2 online. So what do you do with the CD Key for Halo 1. I've used it and played the game years before, will that still count? Do you have to put the code into the Xbox Redeem Code thing? I'm confused :(
The Heretics are in the 4th and 5th levels of Halo 2. Go play them.
Woo engineers are back!
I've been playing and following the Halo series religiously since Halo CE, I played the original trilogy on Xbox. But because I never got Halo 1 on PC I can't get a flair to show off my dedication to the series? :frown:
I hope they continue the http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Siege_of_Madrigal tradition.
The reason I didn't get Halo CE when it first came out it is because I was about 4. I haven't gotten my hands on a copy of Halo 2 yet. But I did get Halo CE off the XBL marketplace. I can get only 5 so far.
I got Half-Life 1 in 1998 when I was only 6-7 years old :smug: Then a few years later I got Halo 1, my first ever console game and I've stuck with the series ever since, never had a serious criticism for it, only superficial things or things that were eventually fixed.

Then I got it on the PC when I was eight, and was playing Tribes since I was 6 anyway. I got my Xbox when I was 10, right around 2005. Like, three months before the 360 came out. Got that for my 11th birthday in January, and since then, Halo has been the household king. Well, since 2002, it has, but now it's just more concrete.
I got a 360 (I never had the original Xbox) maybe two years ago because I wanted Halo 3. My mom didn't want me to get Rated M games but I played CE all the time at my friend's house and took an immediate love to Halo.
Got Halo 1 on launch day, and for me and my friends it was the new Golden Eye. There were Halo parties nearly every weekend. We played the first two non-stop, then, by the time Halo 3 came out, all of them jumped ship to cod, except for me. Its a shame, none of them are even considering Reach.
Ok now we're all just wanking our ego's I just think they should find a way to give the Xbox Original crew some love, I understand their limitation to PC but meh, it'd be nice to be ranked in with the Veteran Halo players since Halo CE was out on Xbox Original before the PC.
I have 4 copies of Halo CE... One we bought in 2001 for the Xbox, the second was for the PC (since it had multiplayer), the 3rd was because about a year ago I couldn't find either my Xbox version or PC version, so I bought it on XBL marketplace. The fourth was in March or so because I wanted to replace my Halo PC so I could play the multiplayer and download mods. Then a month later I found both the original Halo and Halo PC discs, the Xbox one scratched up beyond belief, and the other one's CD code was already used so I couldn't install it. (and to those of you wanting the CD code I threw it out because I never foresaw needing it). Luckily I still have the CD code from the most recent one I bought.
I should e-mail someone at Bungie and ask them to look at Reach players' games history and see if they have CE and/or Halo 2 on it. It might be time consuming but I think it'd be a good idea.

Halo 2 you have to have games on your history on the same account you're playing reach.
It doesn't really matter, I mean its not like people who played Halo on the Xbox when it was released are part of some elite society.
They're not but the purpose of the flairs are to show the veteran/long-time players, it would be nice to counted into that when I've been playing for the best part of a decade now. The PC version came out nearly 2 years after the Xbox Original version. It's just a shame they have no means to count in console players.
OK, I too am horribly confused about the "Halo 1" flair. I have the PC version of the game, and a message said to enter the CD code to play, which I did. Now, where do I enter the code to get the flair?

If you entered the code you should automatically have the flair so long as your gamertag is linked to your Bungie.net profile.
If you entered the code you should automatically have the flair so long as your gamertag is linked to your Bungie.net profile.
Yeah I should of checked on Bungie forums first and just now did. You can't enter the code yet until the game is out. So luckily I should get the HALO flair for having played all 3 Halos, nice.
Anybody up for matchmaking?
When they release it you'll input your Halo CE CDKey somewhere on Bungie.net or on Halo Reach (It isn't all that clear yet) If it's the same system as before you'll do it on B.net If it's in the game that would be pretty cool to change your flair on the fly.
