If you're a fan of Halo's gameplay, then it feels somewhat nostalgic, even if you haven't played Marathon, to play it. It has this feeling of familiarity to it.
Also, I have my Halo PC flair. Now to endure the next 20 days.

They must be kidding..Halo wars i consider the worst.
I hate halo wars for the fact of microsoft killing the mod Halogen. Then taking their idea. Then have ensemble studios make the game, then close ensemble studios.

What the fuck, everyone's talking about how they don't want the statue, or the flaming helmet, but no one has mentioned the making of videos that come with Legendary. That's the only reason I'm getting it instead of Lmited, the other stuff just justifies the price for me.
It had some nice music at least.
For Halo2 I remember getting a disk that had "The making of Halo2". Does the limited($79) version of Reach include something like that?
I do not think there is a video with the limited or legendary editions.

Legendary has a downloadable version. My last post was ENTIRELY about it.
Legendary of Halo 3 was a waste of money for me, sadly. I don't give two shits about the stuff on the bonus disk, honestly. I might look at it again.

That is because fanboys/12 year olds don't know how to construct an argument.
Anyway, I've been playing Halo 2-3 and Halo PC for the past few weeks.
And although I'm excited about Reach, I know there will be somethings that will be different . . . things I'll miss.
For one thing, I'm not sure I'll feel the same about killing an Elite after Halo 3. I'll feel like I'm effing MC and the Marines over for when the Elites break from the Covenant to help with the flood.
I'll miss fighting Brutes. I loved when the got pissed and charged.
I'll miss the overwhelming sense of dread when walking into an area and hearing that sound. . . that fucking sound grapes being stepped on and the weird growls that are the flood.
Bungie keeps repeating that Reach is in many ways going back to their original formula that made Halo so great. But one thing I loved about the first game is that it was this killer action game, then became an FPS survival horror game, then became a cluster fuck of 3 factions duking it out. I remember playing CE for the first time and shitting my pants when the flood. I was playing in the dark . . . and for the rest of the game there were times I jumped out of my seat.
Will Reach have anything [I]scary?[/I]
I'll miss walking into an area, and trying to decide if I should:
Kill Flood first.
Kill Sentinals first.
Kill Covey first.
Try to sneak by.
Try to run by.
Start hucking 'nades and blow everything up.
It seems reach will manly be a two sided war, which will be fun, but I'll miss having that third/fourth party X factor to deal with. I hope that the "wildlife" in Reach will by dynamic enough to be territorial and kill whatever comes near it.
Any one else feel the same?
asdffgfdsdf just entered in my Halo CE key and got my nameplate, now to get some M$ points tomorrow to buy Marathon and some Bungie Pro!
