I think the best tactic would have to be Jetpacks or hologram to divert their fire somewhere else, then shotgun rush.

I have a question btw. Bungie said that if you are playing co-op sometimes one of you co-op buddies will take the place of a noble team member. So if you are player 3 player co-op and one player is Jorge and the other is Kat (and you're playing on the 1st time through) then one of your buddies is like "I have AIDS" and you have no idea which one is Kat and which one is Jorge because they are both playing as custom character models.

I hope they give you a fair amount for Forge/custom games/Campaign. Because in CoD: WaW they said you could level up from playing co-op, and in reality it was like you got 2 XP every time you did some hardass challenge.

Meh, if in singleplayer, I'm probably gonna play some oneshot weapon + unlimited ammo all the time. With other people default options would work better.
