i know that you guys will hate me for what im going to say: ive never played a single halo game. but a few days ago i saw a halo reach poster at gamestop and i saw a shitload of advertisements online on that and thought, "maybe i should try this..." so i pre ordered it. i look forward to playing the deathmatch games on it

I really hope they enable clip recording and rewinding in firefight and campaign, I know they set it's something to do with an engine limitation, but if they could figure a way around that it'd be brilliant, I did have a few fun moments in firefight on ODST outside of gathering a group to get that achievement, and slogging through the replays only to miss the moment or only be able to see it once is a bit of a bitch.
Also, wonder how the firefight playlists will be, a few objective based ones and maybe an endless one?

You should play Halo: CE so you have an idea of the story since halo: CE was right after Reach, and it is a great game.

Bandwagon effect
I love the Halo games. Everything you can do in them just seems so...epic, whether its firing countless bullets into a mass of Flood on a planet-sized artifical ring superweapon, or launching yourself into the air to grab onto someone's Hornet and rip them out of it.
The sheer amount of bandwagon hate against the series makes me depressed, as the stories and characters are far more deep than the "hurr shoot peeple" that everyone seems to have gotten into there head.
Only bad thing Halo has introduced: regenerating health. I'm sick of no longer being able to feel the tension of rushing for that health kit with only 20 points left :saddowns: .
It's easier to make good maps for the Halo engine than it is for the source engine.
Being honest i havnt seen much band wagon effect in this forum yet and hopefully it will stay this way, Halo deservers better than the band wagon effect, the one thing more persuasive to gamers than actual game reviews
