Personally the Far Cry 2 map editor was too technical IMO.
Reach's seems a lot more simplified.

Eh, you can do some really amazing things with far cry's, but reach's is better for just hopping on, making cool shit, and playing it with friends.

Yeah that's what I like the most of Halo. My friends and I can just hop on and make something fun to play in a quick amount of time.
You guys won't believe this, but I was just playing Halo PC with the regular mouse/keybee when I started getting annoyed when I kept dying.
So for shits & giggles I decided to map my 360 controller to it, and the darndest thing happened: I started progressing easier...
Like my experience from Halo 3 carried to the controller and to Halo 1. It was interesting to realize how much easier Halo is with a controller. It was all ass backwards

Weren't you bothered by the 8 movement directions? From my experience, you can only move in those directions and not NWW for example.
