Halo 1 - Fantastic Halo 2 - Good Halo 3 - Okay Halo ODST - I'm sick and tired of running around as Rookie. What the hell do I do at this beacon? Halo Reach - Stop trying to be Modern Warfare 2. Now you both suck.
Halo Reach - Stop trying to be Modern Warfare 2. Now you both suck.
what
Good sir, Call Of Duty and Battlefield have nothing on this shit. Good day.
Halo Reach - Stop trying to be Modern Warfare 2. Now you both suck.
hahahahahahah no
Halo Reach - Stop trying to be Modern Warfare 2. Now you both suck.
Reach has an armor ability that enables you to sprint and has customizable loadouts so it must be like Modern Warfare 2 hurr
I know it's probably an old, overasked question and there will be dumbs given to me and what not, but did Bungie ever mention a PC port of Halo 3? I love the first 2 but I ain't buying an xbox just for the third one.
Reach has an armor ability that enables you to sprint and has customizable loadouts so it must be like Modern Warfare 2 hurr
pretty sure it just has preset loadouts, not create-a-class
Reach has an armor ability that enables you to sprint and has customizable loadouts so it must be like Modern Warfare 2 hurr
they're not customizable for standard matchmaking, only custom games
they're not customizable for standard matchmaking, only custom games
Oh, my mistake, my post still stands though.

Seeing as we got bungie's mod tools for Halo PC, and they were amazing to use, I can only imagine that it got more intuitive. Seriously that was like the best engine ever to develop for because it just made sense. It's a shame it's nearly completely dead. Loadouts and an ability to Sprint magically makes it like Call of Duty, right?
I wonder if Bungie still owns their engine or if Microsoft got that too
I actually thought that ODST was a good game. I thought it was worth $60, even though it was supposed to be $30.
I wonder if Bungie still owns their engine or if Microsoft got that too
Microsoft owns the rights to the franchise and I'm assuming the content that is created for the franchise, but I would imagine that they do not own the rights to the development tools.
Actually, Gearbox ported Halo 1 to PC, not Bungie.
I wish I didn't throw away the sleeve to the cd I lost..
Actually, Gearbox ported Halo 1 to PC, not Bungie.
But Bungie had a greater hand in the porting process then they did for Halo 2 PC, which was pretty non-existent. Examples in the game are newer weapons, maps, and Halo: Custom Edition.

It's not going to be a fun Halo game if it's all about combat that is almost exactly like Call of Duty's. I will admit my post was dumb, but ODST was broken(I wandered in circles around a stupid fountain as Rookie trying to see what the beacon was leading to, but nothign happened). I guess I'm just being a fanboy of Halo 1 because it was the best in the series, but that's my opinion.

Halo Reach adds new flavor to perfection that it is. I do not understand your statement about it not being a fun halo game if it's only about combat. It's not removing any of the aspects it's always had, it's simply adding to it. Halo ODST was a fun addition to the Halo Series, many people do not like it and that is because they were expecting something different. (I personally think it was the second best game campaign wise to date.) Your recent post is dumber then your first.
Personally I think it goes like this: CE>=Reach(?)>ODST=3>>>2 ODST and 3 were about the same (though they played differently), and Reach will either be as good as CE or very close. And Halo 2 sucked, too many flood levels and shit ending.
Halo ODST had an awesome live action trailer for it, thereby ODST is awesome.
I really and truly am the only one who liked Halo 2. It wasn't better than Halo:CE by far but it was still a solid enough shooter and was enjoyable enough for me. Although Halo:CE kept me hooked a lot longer than Halo 2. My friend came over everyday(including that Christmas day where I got the console first) to finish it. Halo 2 dragged a bit in the middle and we kinda lost interest.
The original Halo was the best, I hope no soul argues that
It was definitely the best single player, but the best multiplayer in my opinion was definitely Halo 2, on the xbox.
Halo 2 was fun and the story was okay (until the end), it's just that they focused too much on multiplayer.
I don't know if I want Halo 2 anymore. Damn your opinions!
Halo ODST had an awesome live action trailer for it, thereby ODST is awesome.
I actually liked Halo 3's live action series more. It didn't try and portray the game as just "ALEINS AND ESPLOSHUNS!". It just seemed more sophisticated. And I just loved how they made it in the style of interviews with veterans from the war, it was genuinely interesting. To me it caught more attention when it appeared on the TV than just another explosion filled video game commercial.
Reach, in my opinion, looks like an attempt at keeping up with all of the new shit coming out, but leaving the original suit that MC wore in the original series.
I couldn't agree less. The armor powers bear much more resemblance to the classes found in the venerable Battlefield series than Call of Duty's system of perks and customization. It is a break from tradition, but I think that the powers add a lot to the traditional Halo formula.
