Eh. I'm split on this news. At first it's pretty cool but at the same time I only rage quit when I'm getting tremendously raped by people a million times better than me. It doesn't happen often at all but it does happen.
How do they tell if it's dropped accidentally or on purpose? In theory couldn't you just unplug your router and "Accidentally" Disconnect?

When you submit a player review you can mark them as "Too Good."

Pretty sure it tracks how badly you're gotten beaten in the last few minutes. If the disconnect is during normal gameplay with maybe a 1.2 kill to death ratio you won't get a penalty, but if you keep running to the same guy with the shotgun, getting no kills and getting swept around in general and you suddenly "disconnect" it'll mark it as a ragequit.
I dont see why people on the Bungie.net are complaining about the quit ban their excuses are always shit as well like "What if i have dinner?!?!" Why would you get banned for leaving once, unless youre retarded and search for games not play them while eating and keep quitting.
Or the normal one is "What if i haz noob team!" Play the game out try your best or just quit and dont do it so often.
Also about how it tells the difference is simple if you click quit you then your quitting if your internet goes then thats a disconnect by accident.
Im sure people would abuse this by disconnecting their internet but why bother, oh no you might get 1 digit added on to your thousands of loses.
tbh, I think the flaming thing looks dumb, even if I did get it, I wouldn't use it.

you know i have a great idea for a forge world map.two bases suspended in mid air. with an even taller structure in the middle and in order to get to it you need aircraft.its the perfect set up for king of the hill

And about I dont think the Halo 2 thing will be an armor effect rumor says it will be a badge on your service record like the legendary difficulty one on Halo 3.
And to be honest I dont think the Elephant will be in Reach as cool as it was.
Its already been confirmed they cant be spawned in forge world.

It's not about the abuse, it's about the people who automatically mute everyone with a mic, but don't use the "mute all" option. Thus, once you get muted enough times, you're muted for good.

I have mixed emotions about the Ragequit thing. I like that it discourages quitting at random, but I really [i]really[/i] hope they dramatically change the penalties system. I hate being penalized if I opt to leave a match after all my teammates quit.

In H3, I use Katana, Security helmet (Just unlocked those two recently. :love:), and Hayabusa shoulders. I would post a picture but B.net isn't loading right now.
I use ODST helmet, hayabusa shoulders and EOD chest. My darn security helmet didn't unlock though :argh:

You have no idea. My friend had 750 gamerscore and had the katana and security armor while I had 950 gamerscore and neither a katana or security armor. I was so fucking pissed.

I think we can all agree that the "A-Hole" button was the best addition to matchmaking in Halo 3.

My security helmet unlocked when I got Marathon Man, but re-locked later. I'm well past 1000g for H3 and still no Security helmet. Never got a Katana Either. :arghfist::byodood:

You have to get the main 1000 gs for Halo 3 to unlock them. I was lucky enough and when they released the patch with the extra achievements all the armor unlocked for me (It's a glitch)
