I never played Halo 1 (I had a lan match at school once, I dominated with the pistol) or 2 online. Oh well.
Did anybody else get all of the launch achievements, before the new ones came out? Like Overkill, Two for One and Stepping Razor? Those were bastard hard to get.
Not like these shitty '50G for killing the flag carrier' ones. Back in my day, we had to earn the katana.
Just checked my profile, haven't played halo 2. Oh well, atleast i'll get the halo CE one.

I did. Overkill was an absolute bitch for me, seeing as I am not the greatest Halo player.
Ended up getting incredibly lucky and getting an overkill with a single plasma grenade. :smug:
No staging achievement matches like a pussy either.

Halo 1 didn't have online. The community formed around LAN. Which made it like a billion times cooler.
What the fuuuuck, I checked my history and it says I've played no Halo 2 online, it should say about 300 :( I changed my name shortly after the servers turned off, do you think this is why? Gah I'm annoyed. :(
Log in to Bungie.net, then on the menu bar hover over Stats then Halo 2 History in the dropdown.
If that is it I guess flair is on it's way (I have 12,000 games)

The PC version did.
and if its at school, I am guessing its on the pc.

Oh hell yes Stepping razor and overkill pissed me the fuck off but when I earned them I just went "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YEEEEEEEEEEEES!"
PC don't count.
Halo CE for PC does count as long as you've had a valid CDkey for a while.

There was a workaround for Halo 1 xbox online multiplayer through a PC, I remember reading about it in a gaming magazine.
We need to set up a giant FP Reach launch match.
Let's see... first we do some Custom Games shit then Forge?

No I mean it don't count when talking about Halo 1 multiplayer. It counts when talking about Halo PC multiplayer.

No fuck you guys I'm doing some solo Forge World shit and then some Campaign

hell no im playing campaign
(if i get it :frown:)
I shall join you in forge and custom games !!!
[editline]08:23PM[/editline]
i shall probably get it first The UK is six hours ahead of The USA
I shall complete Campaign, play a little multiplayer (if I have bought Live by then), and then make my King of the Hill gamemode.
I wonder how hard a King of the Ghost gamemode would be like
Hectic and full of plasma grenades
Yeah, we definitely need an FP match, like, once every two days the first few weeks it comes out? I'd love to play with some of you guys!
Or, we could all make a giant Facepunch base? :v:
We need to make a "FP plays Reach" gamertag so we can use the friend of friends feature to find people to play with.
Cat N Mouse will be making a return now that Blood Gulch is back, hell yeah! Also, fuck you guys. It is all about the campaign and then multiplayer. :smugdog:
There was post that talked about the work around for Xbox Onlive.

It works like hamachi does for PC games (generates a VLAN)
What it does is fool your Xbox into thinking someone is connected locally to you so you can play games like Halo CE and Halo 2.

Campaign (multiplayer), Forge, Multiplayer, Custom Games (If we even need to).
Fuck, all my Halo 2 games are linked to the Gamertag I had before I changed it, but still the same account. What do I do?
So, who's going to make a silver for Facepunch? :frog:
So what, we all have to change our gamertags to have a clan tag in them? Unless if it's a new feature on Live, i've been out of action thanks to the xbox having a red ring...
No. We make a silver account with a name like "FP plays Reach" and everyone adds it as their friend. Then you can look for people to play with by looking at the friends of the dummy account.
I guess I will make one right now.
Alright GT is FacepunchReach. Should I post the account info so I won't have to be the hero cursed with this evil deed?
Ah, clever. I'll PM whoever my gamertag to whoever is going to make one.
