Getting the Limited edition, Halsey's journal is enough, and the flaming helmet will just be another Hayabusa, everyone will have it and use and it it really won't be that special anymore.

My dad said he would have got the Legendary Edition if he could afford to waste the money lol

I really wish I bought that edition of halo 3 that game with the helmet that you could pick off the stand and store games, was awesome.

I got the limited edition, Hasley's journal looks pretty cool and I want the recon helmet cause I never had it in H3 or ODST.

If you buy it this late it'll probably be pretty cheap compared. I got mine for less than half price.

Preordered the super-exclusive normal edition. I don't care about the flaming helmet because I'll just end up buying the other armour effects like Grunt Birthday Party.

So, everybody, anyone doing anything outrageous for launch day? I'm going to the midnight release, and relying on caffeine and the pure awesomeness of the game to get me through the school day after.

When launch day comes around, I'm going to open the tray of my 360 and pop the disk in. oh wait

I ordered off Amazon with launch day shipping, so I'll get it when I come home from school. I'm gonna work like a mofo on my work that day so I can play all afternoon.

My main plan is to get back to my apartment in the late afternoon, put my feet up, toss my roommate a controller, and play through as much co-op as I can handle. I'll probably start in on serious multiplayer stuff over the following weekend.

Did they fix the placement of the crosshair in Reach? I hope so. The crosshair looks out of place, and it's uncomfortable to aim. I'm looking forward to it though. I'll probably get a buddy, and complete it together.

Bungie is generally pretty good about that sort of thing.

The only armor effect I think I might like is the pestilence cloud one, as long as it doesn't look too distracting like flames or lightning. Grunt Birthday Party will be OK if it's only activated on death.

Same goes for flaming helmet and the elite armor that comes with the limited edition.
