The trailer already spoiled something in a way in one scene, unless there's some huge twist in the game.

Did any of you hear about how they are remaking the Fall of Reach novel with a new cover and new content? It's suppose to be released this month.
And while mentioning novels, anyone read Halo: The Cole Protocol or Halo: Evolutions? I'm halfway through Contact Harvest and dunno which to turn to next. I already have Cole Protocol but it's by an author I haven't heard of, so dunno if it's any good. Pumped for Evolutions to read whatever short stories Eric Nylund wrote :D

Cole Protocol is good. Innie characters were a bit hard to follow for me at least, they all seemed to have the same name. Keyes and Sangheili bits are the best.

Anyone else think the beta trailer was the best one yet (not counting the E9 2009 one, which was great, but more of a teaser)?
I really liked the track, I have it on my MP3 player, I hope the final game will have more of that style rather than the somewhat unfitting synthrock they had in the singleplayer gameplay footage. Best Halo rock tracks are the Mjolnir Mix of the main theme, and Rock Anthem For Saving The World.
So, is that a no on the spoilers then? I think it would be fine if they spoilertagged them.

I hope they add more to the theater mode, in the beta the theater was nearly exactly the same. I think it'd be possible to fit in something along the lines of demo smoother (select a certain timeline to have a camera moving from point A to C, etc.)
I guess I should've voiced those opinions to Bungie before the game went gold.
So is there a place where I can download Halo Combat Evolved? I have the game but my disc is scratched and it doesn't install past 94% =/.
Well since you own the game (well, the license), and apparently have the CD-key, I guess you could download a .iso and use it with that.
Alternatively you could go to a game store or somewhere where they repair scratched disks for a small price.

.iso is a CD or DVD image file, basically a virtual version of a disk.
