:P
Well the story goes that Heroic is the designed and intended experience, Legendary is for masochists and Normal is there to catch people who don't want to pick Easy because they think they are better than they are.
Good news everyone! HDTV (it's slightly larger than my monitor, 26" I think) for Reach launch day for me confirmed. I visited Sweden, and while I was there, I got 30 bottles of Coca-Cola. Glass bottles. The only true experience.
I think I'm set for Reach launch in the AV and drinks side.

Cool. I quite enjoy my 32" myself.
Could have just gotten a VGA HD cable if it isn't that much bigger?
Plus you didn't even talk about your audio so it's only really the "V" side covered.
Playing Halo on Herioc. Beat The Library without dying. Shocked. Get to Two Betrayals...
FUCK YOU BUNGIE! FUCK YOU!
What? What happens in Two Betrayals? Can't remember.
A fuckload of Flood with rocket launchers, Covenant positions, wraiths, banshees and hunters. And VERY limited ammo.
At least they don't have tanks.

I don't have two video-out ports on my monitor, it'd be a real pain in the ass to disconnect my monitor from my PC every single time I wanted to play. And I couldn't use my PC while doing it. The TV was free, so yeah.
And you're absolutely right on the A-side, I have no money for a decent speaker setup. I'll probably play it with headphones anyway.
Damnit, I need some sort of headset that works with the 360 so I can use headphones and the mic at the same time.

dear jesus don't joke of things like that
Who's joking?
They DO have tanks. Tons of them. At one point they have 2 turrets, 2 tanks, 2 hunters AND untra elites. Also the flood ALL have rocket launchers.
I did it though. Now I just have to drive through the Pillar of Autumn, board a Longsword and get the fuck out.
[editline]02:03PM[/editline]
Finally, I finished. How the FUCK did I do that on Legendary when I was 11?

At least Flood doesn't use vehicles in Halo CE. Fucking indestructible Scorpion.
Beware of the Active Camo Flood.

This is what I have to look forward to? :crying:
That, except the limited ammo part. You have plenty of rocket launchers, shotguns, and snipers to use so it's not bad.
Although don't use snipers against Flood.

Whenever I do play it on easy, people make fun of me and tell me to at least do it on normal. I'll go through on heroic some other time. Stop hurting my feelings!
Oh god, the armory on The Maw.

To add on to BmB's post, yeah, Heroic is basically how hard it'd be for a Spartan in those actual conditions. Or so, me and my friends have worked out. Based on the books, those are the accurate damage rates to a Spartan.

I always dive in, grab the launcher, ammo, and shotgun ammo, and get the fuck out of there before the rapetrain arrives.

Except for the armor plates doing jack shit. If it was like the books, they could handle a few plasma shots or a full assault rifle magazine. The shield strength is correct, yes.
On 343 Guilty Spark, I think they make up for lack of enemies by scaring the shit out of you. Everywhere I turned I was expecting the flood. And that video from the marine's helmet. Holy shit.
The only level I hated in Halo CE was the libary.
I heard everyone hates that level, I for one loved it.
Was scared shitless by it, but loved it.
"Just keep running. If I stop I'll die, if I move I'll live. As long as I don't sto-FUCK, A DOOR!"
I had to nearly kill myself grenade jumping up to a platform. Now I have a shotgun and I'm ready to kick ass.
Any bros in the states wanna try to get endure?
Hell no
I'll help ya if you can get more people for it.
I'd be willing to try in a few hours, I finally got my 360 talking to my TV again.
I'd actually be willing to do this if I still owned ODST.
Just wondering, am I the only one that though ODST's only problem was its low replayability?
I mean, I loved the campaign, firefight (save for the lack of matchmaking), characters, music, even walking around at night. I just never got the urge to play it after beating it.

I loved just cruising around the desolate city looking around for places to hide and kill baddies. Best part is when you jack the ghost from that grunt.
So does earning Recon in Halo 3/ODST transfer it to Reach or something? The look of the helmet has kinda grown on me, and I'd like to have it in Reach.
