Im in the luaville system right now - its not reporting any cities.. EDIT: ah, basically because this shabby collection of farms hardly counts as a city. :3:

Make sure all settlements built have a broker and air terminal. An Air repair place is also handy. I've just found a kickass inferno planet just 1 jump away. Vulcanite and Magmex. Om nom nom.

Sorry, I just edited that post to be nicer and more informative but my net crapped itself and I lost the changes. Here's the gist of it: New inferno settlement is in the newly named "Dargon" sector, only one jump away. Our capital has NO METAL so I couldn't set up a settlement properly and it is such just a series of construction sites. Tomorrow I should be able to work on it more and get it up and running. I can't stress enough: Our Capital needs more work! If the governor of it has quit playing, please say so next time; if you're off exploring for a long, long time, put somebody else in power. We need to actually tech up or getting Magmium and Vulcium will be pointless, as we won't be able to do anything with it. Without these, there can be no inter-system trading or transfer of goods and I can't get food, water and air over to moonbases without a city in their system to supply them. I found a habital world, two in fact, but I think both already had cities on them. Oh yeah, one was a gas giant. Also, our capital is a crapsack. And Luaville sucks too.

Ooh, forgot one thing: If you can build my ship design "Ticker Mk2", then don't. It's got a few issues that I have to fix first. Once I have it fixed, if you build it you'll find it to be a small, neat wormhole-capable TL1 ship with a generous cargo bay for being so small. For ease of use without a crew, all computers are kept on a single level and all easy to get between. Unfortunately it lacks shields and sensors but it is not designed at all for combat anyway, armed with only one turret on the underside and no troop berths. At such low tech levels, combat ships are still just a pipedream anyway. Spawns in space. [b]MINI POLL[/b] What do you prefer in ships: Gravity Wells ([img]http://static.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/rainbow.png[/img]) or Ladders ([img]http://static.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/wrench.png[/img])? Rate post accordingly.

Someone really have to give building permission and such to us who know how to build. I am sure I could improve either our capitol or build a new city on the planet which can produce everything we need. But I can't do shit since I am just a citizen.

I know Luaville sucks, it was my first city and I barely knew what I was doing, if I'm able to give building rights to someone how can I? I can't play right now because I've got school work, but I'll log on for a bit to give rights to whomever can build Luaville into a better city.

If anyone travels to Luaville watch out for green glowing slug-like animals, they kill fast. Those were the only dangerous animals I saw on Luaville, the rest are pretty friendly.

Going to play tomorrow when the lag is minimal. The game is awesome, or I wouldn't still want to play it (I did after all play it a lot before the wipe), but the lag is downright horrendous. Haxus seems to be on it though, so hope the client patch later this week fixes it. When I play tomorrow I will do my best to expand Luaville.

When the servers are so lagged out, it takes ages to log on. If the Limbo bug is back, then you might be staring at that screen for days without getting in. Fun times.

But after a minute or 5 the memory leak traded in and I am now relogging

I couldn't find anyone except some guys just standing near a building, not reacting, and i'm not sure in wich city I am. And I think i'm naked. Can you see a player's name anywhere when you look at them?

If you open the navigator you can see which city you are in, you are probably naked and no there are no player names as far as I know.
