Shores of Hazeron Attempt v2: Electric Universe Restart - Games

I'm tempted to try this. This game seems like what Spore would have been if EA had actually kept their promises. But where to start?

If you are lucky, someone will be on that can help you get started on your own colony or something. The actual best way to learn is to start your own Empire, but if everyone does that the galaxy will be filled with small, unfinished Empires again. And yes, it is kinda what Spore should be, in my mind at least. You only have the City and Space stages to go through though, but what you can do is so fleshed out you don't need more.

They give foundational knowledge about the game and are actually really good learning tools. There's a difference between a practice empire that might last, say, a week, and a splinter empire.

As long as the practice empire doesn't grow to large, I don't see much problem with it. Other than the fact that all those small empires was one of the reasons why it lagged so hard before the wipe. Or so I was led to believe at least.

My Empire was kind of for practice, I now have a spaceship not long after Facepunch Empire, haha!

How exactly do i go about designing a spaceship and spaceport? i have done the manual designs from the website but they seem to be outdated :( Do positions of power generators etc matter?

How built up is our empire?

Pretty big, 8th in ranking. We have around 3 systems and 10 ships.

Just made an awesome orbital drop and took some city over w/ Arturcus (sp?), CowTHing, TheMage, and Con7Con.

To be honest it was supposed to be a colony attempt but clouds obscured it until we had already jumped, only had rifles for animal protection.

Aww. I took some screenshots, but apparently they did not actually save to my screenshots folder. Anyway, we have conquered the fledgling furry empire known as the KulShari Imperium by literally jumping down onto an assumingly unoccupied planet and landing on top of the city. It is now ours, and we wait only for disloyalty to crawl to 0%. For our first offensive operation, it went very, very well. Hi5's all around. Also, Bob, my ingame name is spelled 'Arcturus Mengsk'.

That was a pretty epic take over.

Goddamnit "Herby" keeps trying to intimidate us.

What sort of tech levels do you have out your way? Better than the capital, surely?

Well we just hit TL4, and a bunch of our tech is almost at 5. I'm thinking of checking my allies if they've developed farther in any areas.

Just great. I get to the occupied city at Jyol, my squad leader and squad mate are both AFK. When I finally get there after fighting off Flying Penises, I find I cannot spawn tie for some reason. I'm also trying to resist the urge to shoot the residents.

Working on designing my first ship right now. Anyone have any advice? Also what is a good amount of gravity drives/power plants to have or what is a good rate of acceleration? Also first post typed on my new IPod! -took forever

It's not slow, has a nice cargo bay and is wormhole-capable.
