Yeah, it's kinda like spore on drugs, beginning in the civ (or tribe) phase. just with graphics from 1995 and much more complicated.

And you should join facepunch empire, but it's smart to first learn to know the game before joining someone else.

Right now I am (not online) expanding my little city to support 40 people, and to build my way towards the ore I saw in the distance, will take quite a while tough. Also, is there a way to expand the city's storage? because I saw at the labor (at farms) that it said "inventory full", does it mean my own or that from the city.

You can make several towns on a single planet/moon/ringworld, however transport between the two might take a little bit of time.

What do you need leather for? Leather armour?
Otherwise stick with plant fiber and textile from that, or plastics.
Leather is made from carcasses, you can have a farm produce carcasses.

You can place stuff in the city's storage by selling it through the broker.

Building a non-slab dirt road usually only takes 1 labor, so it shouldn't be that tough to build.

Also, yesterday i finished designing my first starship, So it spawns at my station...alright no problem...i power up the ship...going good so far...i take a seat at the helm....i engage full trottle.....no pro....wait why am i going backwards?

So i actually built my ship backwards because i didnt pay attention to the directions on the grid in the designer...FML!

So, any way to destroy my ship so i can make a new one? Because this one is now officially shit lol xD

It is horrifyingly normal for herbivores to taste(kill) you.
As you learn to build faster it'll occur less.
Try to block out random patches of nature in your city with zoos and parks, iirc creatures cant spawn on blocks the player has built on.

Yesss! So much this! Surround your city with a 10-tile thick border of parks! Make sure there are no gaps in your city's footprint at all. Park's don't require a road next to them so it's very easy to do. Just plan them out and the citizens will build them for you.

Dude you have no idea what I went through this morning.

A fucking huge creature somehow managed to get inside my ship. IT KEPT KILLING ME. I spawn inside the ship, couldn't kill it due to having no weapons, and it was in the airlock, preventing me from escaping. IT ATE MY CREW. D:

So I manage to get to the helm, and fly into space with the doors open. I START SUFFOCATING DUE TO THE CREATURE KILLING ME AND REMOVING MY EV SUIT. But the creature died! :D

I ended up suffocating like, twenty times, before the ships engines died and I careened into the sea. Surviving, of course. ;D

it's the little ones, fuckers wich are hard to kill and kill you in a second. I also have a mosquito acting one, doesn't hurt me, but keeps buzzing around, preventing me from building things fast.

one good point, after most fights, my square is filled with 5 or so carcasses, wich I can then eat once the creature is dead. Canniball from my own bodies.

Changing my roads to concrete once I return, do better roads improve travelling speed.
Tough I did notice the road tile gets flat with concrete roads, thank god it looked like a race track at first.
