Blockland - That game where you build stuff - Games

Ok is it worth buying or should i stick with minecraft? i played the demo ages ago but i never had the money back then for it. Also used to play RTB So what kind of things can you do.

Blockland is a great game, but the community is for the most part, stupid, and the server lists are full of "_____ (family being most popular) RP" servers; finding a good freebuild server is a pain. I only play it once in a while due to needing to download several hundred shitty addons on most servers, or get tons of placeholder blocks everywhere.

I think players had more creativity back in the days of V8. People keep making family RP's and jails, and not to mention "plz join" servers. I do play it time to time hosting my server anyway.

i decided to give it a chance, downloaded it, tried it. i didnt like it at all. doesnt seem like the kind of game id enjoy. true, its not a minecraft ripoff at all, but it just doesnt seem fun. jm2c

Eksi hosts a great freebuild and the people there are pretty cool (sort of like the intelligent people here at Facepunch). I sure am tempted to buy it but, meh, I don't have a credit card or paypal so. If you don't want to pay for it, you could download that old version that's for free and get the mod "The Orange Block" or whatever it's called, adds lots of stuff to the game.

TOB was built by a group known as TBM who were a bunch of faggots. Their mission was basically to boycott the retail version and basically destroy the game's real creator, and earlier versions of TBM were known as security risks.

I'm not liking that game.. The fact that you have to buy it to just play online.. Kinda sucks.. I like minecraft better

This game needs a reboot. Hosting a server @ 81.156.35.218 No password. I've also got Blockland "Non-Block" OCD , that is , I hate making builds with exposed pegs. There are print blocks everywhere.
