How much money do they spend on keeping the snack bar stocked?

Well with Gabe there...
I kid I kid. Gabe is awesome.
Stop asking stupid questions about Portal 2 and go to the first needed question to ask: where is Episode 3 ?, 4 years after Episode 2.
you're not going to really get an answer
1. Do they plan to port some games to mobile platforms (iOS,Android, possibly NGP?). This is important to me.
2.-questions already mentioned.
Do those pink cookies really have like 1000 calories like Erik said?
If there's a counter strike 2, will there be hats?
Does Valve have any interest in making an RPG?
Recently, it was announced that Valve would no longer have any stand alone single player camapigns, does Valve still intend to support those that prefer to play by themselves?
What is their opinion on paid DLC?
Motion gaming has also become popular, does Valve have any intest in creating a motion controlled game?
Will the source engine support 3D in the future?
Will valve ever design a third game engine, or will they continue to give the source engine heavy upgrades?
Coke, or Pepsi?
More updates for L4D 1
Ask what they inted to do with co-op/multiplayer in the half life series.
Ask them what was going through their heads when they decided to create DOA2. Did they think it would be a good marketing move? Do they think it is going to be successful?
I know that TONS of people on facepunch alone will not be buying DOA2 unless it is a godlike perfect game, so ask valve why they are making a sequel to a game not many people play or even like.

I'm sorry Mr.Chairman, but the harsh opinions of a few internet denizens rarely affect the sales of future products. Valve need not achieve perfection to have a commercial success on their hands.
To the OP: Please refrain from asking them questions about future releases; you would just end up wasting their time and favor. Asking questions about their design philosophy, company structure, or quality thresholds is far more productive and is more likely to get a positive response. Valve isn't going to be announcing key details about upcoming titles to tour groups.
Ask about asking stuff.
Ask them why Portal 2 was called Portal 2

I know I won't be asking stupid questions about future releases.
Ask about Valve's opinion on Windows and PC stability (they did say one of their major concerns is video driver stability, which is why they implemented the Steam driver updater).
Have they ever felt concern that future Windows OS's may break older games on Steam? (For example, Red Faction 1 can be almost unplayable on some modern PC's without a fan made patch which Steam makes no mention of).
Ask them if they ever have worried that the increasing migration to "idiot proof computers" (ipad, smarthpones, etc) and how it will affect their future business models. Have they considered some way of making PC gaming more appealing? What about the fact that so many people's PC's cannot run even so much as TF2? What's their view on cloud computing?
Ask why the Portal 2 ending as an FMV, was it an engine limitation? Will we see the models of the King Turret in the SDK? Will Valve ever implement DX10 or DX11? Or any sort of "eye candy" treatment to high end PC's?
Have consoles shifted their priorities for anything significant? Gabe said in the 5/2/11 interview that they don't consider platforms when making games ("platform agnostic" as he said)?
What is their stance on many developers ignoring (or even publicly rebuking) the PC? What does Valve think of the fact that other than Capcom and some other devs, most Japanese developers completely ignore the PC period? Have they tried appealing to Japanese gamers?
Murdoco, I am wondering if you can get away with bringing up their tech for the future like sign language, if that still is on the planning board, or if you see some concept art on the walls that looks unfamiliar to you. This PSN going down, I have to wonder how Valve feels about PS3 now, I hope not changed, because I would of asked about if they were going to do Valve clothing and hats, maybe even full social maps for Playstation Home avatars.
ask where is the high five animations for tf2!
ask where is the high five animations for tf2!
Well as Gabe said in the recent interview, Tf2 is a testbed for things they want to try in other games. I think when they began working on the high fives in tf2 they were just using this as an early way to try gestures for Portal 2. Or maybe when they first tried it in TF2 they thought it just wasn't as important and just cut it and moved it over to Portal 2 entirely.
Ask when Meet the Medic (or pyro if meet the medic's been released already) will come out.
Ask when Meet the Medic (or pyro if meet the medic's been released already) will come out.
I'm sure meet the medic will be out in the next couple of months. But I'll make sure to ask a bit about Meet the Pyro.
ask them to develop a mobile steam client for chatting on the iphone.
ask them to develop a mobile steam client for chatting on the iphone.
THIS, PLEASE!
ask if they will add something like a Steam Mod Gallery, like moddb only everyone gets steam support.

desura
oh wait desura is fucking retarded
ask them if there will be hats in Portal 2
I want to go to Valve. :saddowns: Also, ask them if they have any of those combustible lemons.
Where they for from there, like what games they are developing.
Ask him about the ARG, and if the GMAN thing was a coincidence or was that meant to be there.
[editline]12th May 2011[/editline]
Ask Robin how he responds to the tf2community complaining about hats.
Ask them if they plan on using dynamic music for future games, or a soundtrack, or a combination.
Well since Meet the Medic is probably coming out in a week, I'd probably ask about the Pyro instead. Like if they plan to update him with more dialogue lines, even if it's just mumbling.
Ask them what the Political Gamer smells like.
And why they tell him errything.
Ask them, what the hell is that. I mean, that drawings on that board.
