Assassinations have been in Halo since halo CE.
I was fed up with Halo 3 and wasn't interested in Halo: ODST, but damn that Reach multiplayer trailers looks good (even if the two biggest things, jetpacks and assassinations, have been taken directly from Tribes 2 and AvP respectively).
yes, because those games invented jetpacks and assassinations. that preview gave me chills, hooooooooly shit. someone needs to compile a list of things that the video confirms. -at 0:59, there is more then 8 enemies on the radar. That means there is now a bigger playlist then 8x8 -Gravity Hammer returns, but I thought brutes didn't? I'm not sure I see the connection -Jetpacks will make for (hopefully) awesome sniping spots -Definitely some new armor perms, but it was hard to see how detailed they got -New medals and stuff for killing enemies/multikills/ect
Wow, I didn't really like Halo 3, although I liked Halo 1 and 2 was ok... But this, just watching them ramble on about how epic they are going to make this game got me. This looks like it could really become something awesome! The music is great btw.
Assassinations have been in Halo since halo CE.
Not this kind of assassinations like the ones in assassins creed
God dammit.
Not this kind of assassinations like the ones in assassins creed
There's a halo thread on the 1st page already

They're not the main force like they were in Halo 3, they're more like disposable heavy troops. The addition of jetpacks means they'll probably make high-up spots even more off-limits in Reach; remember how the most ridiculous places that no honest player could ever actually access in gameplay were blocked off in Halo 3? I guess I'm satisfied with the armor, but I wish they had more genuinely unique-looking helmets (Unique, as in the difference between Mk. IV and EOD and EVA. Not 4 clones with different vents on the chin and a revised visor) and the new armor types could have been a little more extensive. Bungie said the player cap was 16; was the video in Firefight? Could have also been active camo; it has a radar jamming function now.
OP is 12 and thinks halo is the shit moar boxes plox
:irony: I know that comment is old as hell but wow at your avatar.

Not all the brutes in 3.
Call of Duty wasn't overrated in CoD1 and CoD2 , Halo however first became overrated at the point of Halo 2. [editline]06:52PM[/editline] God there's these kids at my school who wear halo shirts at tennis practice ... pathetic!
I've seen my share of MW2 shirts, I like both series. But seeing somone wear ANY gaming T-shirt in highschool is just asking to get jumped.

If he hadn't worn it, I would have never found out that there were other fans at my school.
Halo discussion in the Halo v2 thread please.
Halo discussion in the Halo v2 thread please.
I wanted to see if this thread could compete... Or is it not allowed to have two threads about the same game in this forum?
You can't. At least I don't think.
Could argue that this is about reach, while the megathread is about halo as a whole, but reach is a new game with a shit-ton of stuff and needs its own thread. It would help if OP will update it. Besides myself, I knoew about 2 other people that are halo fans, most people are like "Gaylo lol, so dumb cuz I can't get akimbo ac-130 quick-scopes"
The new thread is for all of them, and seeing as the older ones require little discussion, there is no argument that this thread is needed.
