Half-Life 2: Deep Down is a pretty good mod (ya need EP2)
Get A Life is a pretty cool mod although the level design is really weird at times
But it's long and has gameplay that's quite different

But don't wait on the third part. The creator killed it.
Suicide Survival is pretty damn fun and different.
Research and Development, Its pretty long and sciencey, but its really fun.
Couldn't seem to get Sweet Half Life working because Windows 8 didn't like installation exe. Maybe I'll fix it later. I played through USS Darkstar instead, it was alright. Supposedly it's supposed to have a sequel. Going for Poke646 and it's sequel next since a few of you told me it's pretty damn good.

Ive never seen the interest in Nightmare House 2. I really dont think anything is as good as its praised to be, the mapping is far from spectacular and the horror is cheap.

It was alright. Some of the scares weren't as good as they could have been. The fucking mannequins though...

You should be able to extract the executable, then copy+paste into sourcemods.
