GoldSrc HL pack.
It's got that old game feeling (quickstarting, resolutions starting at like, 640x800, all that stuff), lots of mods, and you can play it on an old laptop whenever you feel like it or something like that.

And the Source version is only good for the Gmod models, and you already have it.

Yeah, best choice. But get HL:S, too. Just wait for some 1 dollar deal. The original has some classic death animations. That's what I missed in the Source version the most.
