Doing a bypass is really annoying, especially when you have a 0,2 sec. delay on your mouse when you move around on the bypass
EDIT: The bypasses in ME2 that is.
The Mass Effect 1 bypasses were terrible, the hard ones actually made the game go at 2fps so I could never do them.

What? How? It's like saying you max out Crysis, then lag on Tetris.

Try doing bypass when you get about 10-15 fps. That was how I played my first playthrough of ME2.
Now I'm getting 40-50 fps and I breeze by everything.
I'm probably playing ME2 with an average 15-20 FPS. Piss annoying when the computer starts to heat up and the game starts to get a delay.
The worst is that I can't get the target sign around the enemies to use any of my powers when it lags

Console casual gaming race.

Don't know why it happened, bad porting I assume.
I could run the game on high at a high fps fine with no problems but as soon as I started a bypass it just collapsed.
mass effect 2 ONLY RUNS LAGGY AND SLOWLY on mordins first mission on omega and when you first fight the collcetors on horizon
other than that.. full fps

Well I get lower fps on minecraft than GTA IV and crysis. It just comes down to optimization.

While Minecraft doesn't look like it, it's one hell of a performance-requiring game, when you take into account that it can have a huge world and has to keep track of everything in it.
It can run on almost any computer from a technical standpoint, but not from a practical standpoint.

Dear god what.
Lol random Miranda at the end.

It just struck me that this sounded very much like ME1 in style.
I recently just did the suicide mission again and had one casualty (right on the last part of the escape of the Collector base): Tali. Was it because I turned her down and kept her as a friend?
All team members were loyal.
Who did you bring besides Tali?
Who did you bring besides Tali?
I had Legion in the vents, Miranda as Fire Team leader 1 and 2 and Samara as Biotic shielder. Mordin escorted Dr Chakwas back. I took Garrus and Grunt for the last fight and Tali died on the final retreat to the Normandy.
Garrus and Grunt make up a lot of the "points" needed for the final stand section. If there isn't enough accumulated points to save everyone at that point, it kills off the weakest people. Most of the time, Mordin is the one that dies since he has the lowest combat score. I'm assuming Tali is next, which is why she died for you.
Was everyone loyal? If so, what difficulty were you on? I recall reading that the higher difficulty you are on, the more carefully you have to pick your final squad. You can have everyone loyal and still lose somebody during that final retreat if you don't make smart choices on who to send back with the crew and/or take with you to the final part of the mission.

Everyone single one was Loyal. I played it on Hardcore (or whatever the one below Insanity is). Does the amount of times party members are incapacitated count? Garrus went down about 5 times in the last fight. He was taking cover in mid-air...
Difficulty doesn't [shouldn't, at least] count, and incap amount doesn't either.

You just didn't have enough Defence Points.

I'm pretty sure difficulty affects how many defense points you need to keep everyone alive. It'd make sense if that were true, since he was playing on Hardcore.

Maybe I should have left Grunt with the main group. Poor Tali...
Grunt is fucking terrible against Collectors anyways, no idea why you took him.
Actually difficulty having an effect on DPs doesn't make sense, at least in my opinion.
Grunt is fucking terrible against Collectors anyways, no idea why you took him.
I picked him because Inferno ammo is effective against armour. The [sp]human reaper's weak spots[/sp] are armour. Anyway, his Concussive shot is effective against Barriers and his shotgun is effective against husks and abominations, so I'm not sure how you've come to that conclusion.
Grunt and Garrus are the two teammates who have the highest Defence score. Taking them with you weakened your rearguard, meaning Tali died
Garrus would have been fine with a different teammate - he's got armour piercing ammo which is more effective against armour then inferno. Inferno IS indeed effective against armour, but its primary use is preventing enemies from regenerating

So that's why I brought Garrus? I knew there was some logic to it.
So, in short, bring someone else who isn't Grunt, try Tali, if she's loyal she's garunteed to survive.
I often bring Mordin and Miranda to the final fight. Works fine for me on Insanity
