There's so much potential for epic scale. Escaping the collapsing body of a Reaper after you destroy it. Firefighting against a Reaper fleet inside the Normandy with your allies. Watching the majority of the galaxy's navies fighting well over 300 Reapers over Earth.
Then there's Legion dancing.

There's a part in Halo 3 where you are driving along a highway and a Covenant ship flies over you at probably 500 meters height to then proceed away into the skybox. imagine that in Mass Effect. That would be cool.
Also, 3:03 on in that Space Sphere video is EXACTLY why the Reapers are coming. I told you all, I told you that they found him.

Having made the Halo thread, I have replayed every moment of the Halo series repeatedly. And that is indeed a good scene, but I prefer the one where the Forward Unto Dawn does the single closest landing ever on The Ark :D.

Thermal clips, maybe? I mean, I expect that guns in ME CAN fire without thermal clips, it's just that it severely limits the rate of fire. I don't see why they'd totally undo the whole infinite ammo idea practically in universe. It'd be a setback, if anything.
