I can't find the overhauled SR-2 screen shot yet that's in the GI magazine on the web yet. It has the old interior lighting from the first Normandy but with the same layout as the SR-2.

Do you mean the concept art? I hear that there is an exclusive screenshot on OXM, but no one has been able to find a scan of it yet.
If TIM is really sending all these goons with high tec equipment after Shepard, despite knowing about the Repears probably more than we do, he's a fucking idiot.
There's probably a plot twist or something that explains it. I seriously doubt Cerberus would be going after Shepard just because TIM is upset. Maybe it's not even TIM doing it, perhaps something happens to him. Indoctrinated perhaps.

I remember reading in the GI article that the reason TIM is hunting you is revealed either early on, or in the middle of the game and it's supposedly a huge plot reveal.
Either controlled by Reapers now or (my preferred) version: he has been secretly replaced by whatever/whoever and the thing is using a hologram or something to have his appearance and thus controls Cerberus from the inside COME ON I KNOW IT'S A CRACKPOT THEORY
But if he is indeed indoctrinated it'd be cool to see another scene of a "bad guy" shooting himself like Saren

You cant really tell. It can me anything with 2 floors and at least 3 walls. But i can see it a bit with the stair leading down from ground level into the station, But would we not see any signs of damage if it was in London. Or at least some debris or something

The SR-2 definitely has the better floor plan.
But the SR-1 lighting is just awful, IMO. Everything is too damn dark. Makes it claustrophobic inside.
