Singly, and it's best anyway as you can mix and match.
The characters wer a bit shallow in me1. usually having no reason to do anything. Garrus has a beautiful moment if you dont recruit him, he just shows up and asks if he can tag along.
"hi shepard, its me garrus, can i come in you spaceship and fight bad guys?"
In ME2, Garrus does what I'd do if I was in the Mass Effect Universe (and if I wasn't such a big nerd) - fight for what is right and just. But since I am a big nerd I'd probably be doing calibrations instead.

You do know that you have your steam profile linked under your FP icon yes? What was the point of censoring that

He was censoring who it was from, not his name in particular, so they wouldn't be pestered is what I assume.
Anyone willing to gift me ME1? I'm short 5 today, but I'll gift you a 5 dollar game when I get the cash :), mods can hold me to it.
When I get this cash is tomorrow, for clarification.

Got a new 23" so obviously my 1920x1080 debut had to be Garrus looking awesome. I am totally gay for him.
On a different tangent, I'd like to talk about the mako.
I know quite a lot of people had problems with it, but I personally think it was brilliantly made. The handling was so good that I had exceptional control even when climbing the 60+ degree slopes on Eletania (as you do), and despite it's slight overzealousness when turning, it feels really fun to use. Only problem for me is when you take a fuckton of damage, the kinetic barriers take so long to recharge you may as well finish the fight instead of hiding.

The ungodly traction on it is kind of annoying...I leap off a 75 degree vertical incline, and back down to a 50 degree descent, slide about 3 feet, and come to an immediate stop. Rather unrealistic on all but the heaviest gravity planets...

Ah screw it, I just sent it to you.
WOO HOO HAPPY VICTORY AGAINST THE FRENCH DAY!

wait what
I never noticed gravity making a difference. I thought the value for gravity they gave in the briefing screen was just for show.

Give this man hearts. <3
So, uh. I just bought and finished Overlord today.
...:smithicide:
You should continue with the sequel then. Minions are much more fun to control this time round.
I do feel that the Reapers in ME2 not feeling like an immediate, horrifying threat was sort of a let down, but thinking about it 'realistically' (if such a thing can be done here): the Reapers are calculating. Their first major plan in what was probably a few millennia failed (Saren opening the Citadel relay) and now they had to figure out a way to rectify the situation and try again. So they attempted to make another Vanguard to replace Sovereign which... well, basically leads you to Mass Effect 2.
As much as I found it less epic than the first game in terms of the plot, complaining that it was a bad story would be kind of like complaining how the Reapers didn't really make any big pushes at taking over the galaxy between the Rachni wars and Saren's involvement (because I think we've all came to the conclusion that the Rachni wars were influenced by the Reapers).
Quick question: I think I remember reading that there are higher resolution texture mods for Mass Effect on the PC...
Anyone know where/how? I tried searching, but not much help.

:20bux: says that the Reapers wanted the Rachni (naturally an isolationist race that keeps to itself) to expand rapidly because they were the "chosen" race to later exterminate and consume. All Sovereign was doing is actually spur them to expand.
Also, it wasn't as much how the Reapers weren't present with the exception of Harbinger (unfortunately) it was because there wasn't a feeling of dread with the approaching threat. What I mean is in ME1 every major conversation topic at least mentioned the Reapers and how they consistently wipe the floor with every race that's existed since the Reapers were first constructed. This was completely gone in ME2 with the exception of Hackett in Arrival.
Yes the Collectors were the immediate threat, but they were only a threat to the Terminus colonies (I mean they only had one ship that could probably be taken out by a small Alliance task force) and for all the talk amongst the crew and squadmates, the Collectors simply can't compare to the Reapers.
Did you guys already know that DICE is helping out with the audio of mass effect 3?
ME3 was delayed because it needs more calibrations
"They say that you never hear the bullet that kills you."
I've said this before like 2 threads ago but I had a nightmare where ME3 came out, and it sucked.
I'd rather get a bonechilling, mindraping nightmare than have another nerdy as fuck videogame nightmare where my guns don't work or the game can't be paused
My hope for ME3 went down a little with the "bigger audience"- announcement, last time EA said that Spore happened.
Spore was a huge let down. But I still enjoyed the fuck out of it and I will with this aswell.

Yep. The audio is Bad Company 2 was godly so i can't wait to see how the ME3 audio turns out
Also patriotism :sweden:

Why can't you ever fucking pause in video game nightmares? And why aren't you ever a badass?
I've had one dream where I could shoot lasers out of my fingers, that's it.
