Well, considering liara is not actually in combat in the release version of the game, why not? (excluding LotsB of course. Not all of us have it.)
I still need to get LotsB
Keeping in mind that Ashley or Kaidan will live too. Also, at least 2 of the ME2 squaddies has to survive if you're going to play ME3.
Everyone in ME3 should have a chance of dying. Even Joker, Anderson and Hackett. I want a epic and dramatic ending.
He's a bad ass looking squaddie, but during the final mission I ended up having him on the other team and then escorting the crew members back to the Normandy, because I realized none of his special talents are useful against organics... In fact, I stuck with Grunt the whole way through, because I knew he could suck up a huge amount of damage, and I basically used him as a battering ram.
Depends on what difficulty level you're playing on. On lower difficulty levels, Legion is pretty much useless against Collectors. On higher ones (most notably, Insanity) his attack/explosive drone ability really makes things easier. On my latest playthrough, I went into the final part of the suicide mission with Legion and Garrus for shits and giggles, and they ended up doing an amazing job. As I've mentioned before, the Incisor sniper rifle doesn't suffer from a squaddie damage reduction, so having two squaddies armed with it makes them actually useful in an offensive context. Otherwise, squaddies are good for nothing but powers and absorbing bullets on Insanity.
the collector ship mission is really fucking hard on insanity.
the collector ship mission is really fucking hard on insanity.
Hardest part of the game IMO.
yeah it is. I died so many times
"You don't need to know someone to sleep with them, you just need to know where to put it." Oh Jack :allears:

Keep him stuck at the back, let him snipe the shit out of people and he'll do fine. I prefer to take that job myself when I'm an Infiltrator and just let Grunt and Jack run around shooting everything but if you don't have a Widow yourself, he does the job pretty well.
Soldier 4 lyf3!
Maggots!
I think Jack is going to slap me with a sexual harassment claim after the last time I spoke with her just now. She specifically told me not to come back down there.

A bit late but I recall the reason why the Turians attacked the Humans was because they were irresponsibly activating any mass relay they could get their hands on. After the Rachni wars, it became galactic law that explorers were not allowed to activate newly discovered relays, and that the only time a new relay was to become active was when an undiscovered civilization residing in an unexplored starcluster on other side of the relay used it. Most lifeforms that had achieved space flight were not hostile, so this reduced the risk of war.
If I unlocked a weapon achievement in ME1 so I could use an assault rifle with an engineer, would this "carry" into the second game so that I will still be able to use assault rifles? I just want to make a character that isn't an assault because everyone and their grandmother uses that class, but I don't want to be totally useless in combat, either.
No, it doesn't carry over. The only way to give them an Assault Rifle is to either be Soldier or go for Assault rifle training on the Collector ship. Still, with the Mattock Assault training is the best choice. An Engineer with a Mattock is still very nice.
So sexy
So sexy
Obvious squadmate in ME3, provided he survives; I'm in the mood to post my favourite NPC:
He's not freelance, he's far too easy to kill off accidentally and most of all, he's a Salarian who thinks he's a soldier. Mordin works because although he can fight, he knows he's not a fighter and just does doctory things. Kirrahe tries to be a soldier even though he's a weak Salarian.
At one point Mordin was going to be a biotic according to an unused sound clip from the suicide run.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/RR7p4.png[/img_thumb] Am I the only one who thinks this is really dumb?
It could be a way to say "I hate Liara" or "I like Liara". Choose your destiny.
A mini-film based on the Mass Effect games, 'The Krogan Bartender': [editline]2nd April 2011[/editline] Could be a joke, but:
Seth Green twitted: "Confirmed: I'm reprising my Joker role in #MassEffect3. I look forward to completing many more missions with you sir, or mademoiselle."
Mass Effect without Seth Green's voice for Joker ain't Mass Effect. Just as FemShep without the mighty Jennifer Hale.
Everyone loves Joker, It would be strange if Bioware didn't include him in ME3 There would have been fan rage
