True enough, I only helped in some specific development parts, most of the credit goes to the rest of the guys, not the marketing staff.

Shepard-commander, are you still there?
Just started playing the PC version of Mass Effect. It's one of the better console-ports I've ever played (it was an Xbox exclusive at first, remember). Very competently optimized and handled. And it somehow looks a lot better than the 360 version, though that could be attributed to me not having played the 360 version in a few months...

If you got the hardware for it, The effects can run better on a PC if i'm not wrong

It runs very well. Animations seem faster or at least smoother than on the 360.

Higher screen resolution, anti-aliasing, and better anisotropic filtering.
All around PC versions generally just look better.

What was your recommendation ?
Make a Saren DLC. Thanks.
I made Eddie Murphy and then named him Lando Shepard.

Oh yeah? My drama teacher asked me who is the best person to "persue a relationship with". :smug:
Looks like Lando, Eddie Murphy and Shaft all rolled into one.

Holy crap, the game is 12 gb? I'm guessing like 8gb of that are just the voices and sounds :v:
You can do better than that.

ME2 is a better game overall and longer. If you don't want to play ME1, you can watch the story here. It's more than a walkthrough, and it's pretty interesting.
Even if you don't watch it, you won't have much trouble adapting to ME2's story.
No, theorizing upward and in forms of expansion in regards to expanding mass effect with nothing but pure quality pretty much stops at Walters. Games might be art, abut they are also a commodity. Walters writes consumable commodities.
Whoever said Grunt was shit on Insanity never took him on the Derelict Reaper with fully upgraded Fortification. He charged into at least 6 fully armoured husks and only went down when a Scion started blasting him. Maverick says a plethora of dumb things. As stated I have a great deal trouble reconciling his content here and in the Love Advice thread.

Wow. "The Glow" is almost exactly centered on the town I live in. I don't know if I should feel flattered or insulted. :v:
Played some ME Chronicles. It's cool in a lot of ways, but buying medi-gel with less money gets a bit annoying, but only by doing missions in the Citadel is obvious by pressing W on the keyboard, kind of felt stumped for a minute, battles are hard when you have less items to heal. Only way to cheat, but it was locked at first, is use a decrypter as backup in case. And it'll unlock all the files.
About four hours into ME now. Quite impressed.
Loving the squad leveling stuff, the system really feels like Ghost Recon... but in space.
Two gripes about the grpahics, though... Is there a patch that lets you play in 1900x1200? Also, are there any good "complete" high resolution texture packs? As good as the game performance is it's farily clear that it was a bit of an xbox port, there's no antialiasing and the textures are pretty low res :saddowns:
What was your recommendation ?
I said a biotic shockwave person, cryo ammo and hand cannon, grunt with inferno ammo and claymore and a fast heavy weapon.
I know it's not the best but it worked good for me, can anyone tell me a better one?
there's no antialiasing
UE doesn't support it. Try forcing it in Nvidia/ATI CP.
Did you scroll down in the resolution bar? Stupid question I know, just checking
Only 2 posts while i slept. What is this madness
now it's not the best but it worked good for me, can anyone tell me a better one?
I use Handcannon with incendiary ammo. When mostly upgraded for damage it takes one shot to take away the armor of husks and after that a Slam or Push splits them in half
I usually bring Mordin and someone with the Mattock rifle.
Oh, and always use the Cain. Takes down the Reapers core in one shot
And this works fine on Insanity

You might want to download the Garrus face fix and Chakwas texture fix.

And you're going to have to go in to your graphics card control center and stick the antialiasing higher.

If I remember correctly, the loading times are terrible on the 360 version, You know the lift on the normandy goin down to where garrus, ashley and wrex are? It takes like 30 seconds for that lift to go down (the game is loading meanwhile) and on PC it takes about 2 seconds.

I am sure you know this based on the various works of his.
And before you mention the comics, do some research first.
I also like how you are implying that the people who wrote ME1 and 2 are vastly different teams.

And then we stepped backwards with Mass Effect 2, which was developed by BioWare themselves.
Removal of hotkeys, two fewer buttons on the action bar, streamlined controls, virtually no graphics options, forced mouse smoothing and acceleration all contribute to a poor PC version.
Oh and poor menu navigation. Scroll wheels? Oh, please.
Huh. I followed the tutorial to edit the save file and found that 'Kirahee alive' WASN'T ticked (despite me saving him), and there was no option for multi-racial council/Earth only council).
I are confused. The start of ME2 even said, "Paragon Commander Shepard followed the Paragon Path", so I don't see why I'm getting the renegade council outcome in ME2.
