So they'll be changing the current love interests? They would have to I suppose, they said they wouldn't have any new romances.

Casey Hudson tweeted that that is not necessarily true 100% a couple of days afterwards.
Hmm. With the reapers around, I wonder if there will be hub worlds still.

There probably will. Even if they might be under marshal law or something there is probably some still around. Maybe the [sp]Turian moon[/sp]

I think The Citadel will still be a hub, at least [sp]until the Reapers attack it halfway through the game.[/sp]
okay this is getting to be pretty annoying
every time I scroll past this thread I immediately think of liara's face from that shadow borker meme and I can't help but start laughing
I wonder if the reapers destroyed Arcturus on the way to Earth. That's most of the Alliance Military gone already.

Don't remember why though :saddowns:

About time. It was a little disturbing when Liara kissed my helmet upon our reuniting on Illium.

The same sex romances, or that there will be no new romances?
Assuming you mean the latter, the only way that will affect any of my playthroughs is if they 'break' a relationship in order to give other players an intro. Give it a reboot or something of that nature, with just a few lines of dialogue if you carried over the relationship. That seems like something Bioware would do, which is no bueno.

The "no new romances part". Though we should wait until E3.

I think it may mean no new characters as romances, but existing characters becoming romances.
After our brief meet up in ME2, Kaidan sounded very up for some man-love with my male shep.
Not that I'd take him up on that offer...

I would bet only Ashley/Kaidan are going to be the gay romances.
I don't see Garrus all of a sudden wanting to have sex with male shep. Maybe Jack could be bi. But if they pull a DA 2 and suddenly everyone is bi, I would be very disappointed.
Hope I'm not late:

On twitter Casey Hudson said "I'm confident that our writing team will handle LI's in #ME3 with sophistication and preserve character continuity."
Lets hope that extends to not having characters suddenly shift sexual orientation.
DA 2 and suddenly everyone is bi, I would be very disappointed.
That's what i'm 'worried' about. The character writing in DA2 seemed to be very lazy, not writing sexual orientation into a character that is meant to be deep and engaging (as all Bioware companions are meant to be) felt cheap.
all species look the same except for human master race
I really hope with the bi romances bioware decides to man up again and not censor the romance scenes as much. The romance scenes in DA2 were horrible.

Agreed, While i have not played DA2 so i can't speak to that, Bioware should stand up for their product. This is a mature game and i don't have any delusions about it being ESBR rated below 18 (Or whatever your region has).

I don't actually remember anything else from the series.
Just that.

Hardly, which simply helps along the fact you haven't the slightest.
1. Has the staff changed? yes.
2. Has the overall story arc altered after the fact? No.
3. Has the individual elements changed to fit the revamped direction for the change game play mechanic and game progression? Oh yes. But that doesn't change the end of the story nor any of its permutations, only how you reach it. If you actually knew how to arrange information for nonlinear media, you might have a clue. Apparently you don't.

Also you could hide a Carnifex pistol in the gap between her legs..
The Heretic Geth question, what do I do. There is no third option, no choose to be good, only destruction or brainwashing. Lose perspective and gain knowledge or gain perspective and lose knowledge. Dialectics or protectionism. The additional perspective would help them more in the long run but the short term knowledge would help them for the coming war.
Of course this relies on the Heretics, after the base was destroyed, rejoining with the Geth severely weakened. They could just as well start suicide runs or terrorist attacks on a small scale instead of rejoining the old Geth to try and create a meaning once more after their old one was blown up. Would they cling to this belief or would they know when all is lost? The stolen data on their ship would indicate they are still interested in the philosophical progress the Geth are doing so it might be possible.
Destruction.

Got into it on the Bioware boards. Not opposed to homosexual romances, but I am opposed to retcon and altering characters already established in the franchise. Still though, even assuming that at this point is jumping to conclusions.
Just hope the writers take the time and create a feasible romance that doesn't feel too gimmicky.
They fucked Heretic with giving Brainwashing Paragon points.
Personally I go with Destroying them 'cause 1) they die with free will and 2) I don't want to degrade to brainwashing.
