Ash and Garrus definitely don't seem like the types to go both ways, Miranda too. Thane probably wouldn't fuck anything if Shep didn't remind him of his wife.
Kaidan is a little cunt so he'd probably take it in the ass. Jack just whores herself out because of an emotional-physical disconnection. Tali is a quiet sensitive type so she'd be perfectly suited for a nerd or a lesbian. Jacob just seems a bit more narcissistic than the others and it's doubtful he'd care who he fucked, Shepard just happened to be around and if he thought maleshep would be a good fuck, he'd go for it.

So I didn't know about Liara for the biggest part of the game, since Ilos was directly after that.
Also when you meet Liara on Therum after all that shit you've done already she thinks that she's hallucinating :v: (for those who didn't know already)
I think that I've replayed ME1 like 4-5 times since the first playthrough.

It's lazy writing for sure to not include a characters sexual orientation in how they're written, especially if it plays such a significant roll in character development (like it does in the Mass Effect games).
That being said it is still all assumptions at this point, but they have split the community.
