Gaider isn't writing for Mass Effect 3. He's had a few other responses like this on the forums that just causes more conflict between the fanbase. It's sad because people are beginning to stereotype the situation as hetero vs. homos, instead of listening to the concerns of both sides and considering the implications of having or lacking a bisexual cast of romance options. If anyone in this thread would really like an interesting read, go to the Bioware boards and browse through the Mass Effect 2 general discussion boards, it's where all the arguments and disagreements are really coming up. It's a lose lose situation for Bioware, you alienate a group of people either way you go about this situation.
Yes, you're right, I just posted that because he explains (or tries to) the problems on that game. I feel that the writing to ME3 will be something between ME2 and DAO, the whole 'gather races against a [del]almost[/del] invencible evil force'. I only hope that the romance experience in DA2 made Bioware learn something about listening to fans' demands.
I still stand by the best romance option being Wrex. Can anyone deny that romancing Wrex would be the greatest thing ever?
I was sad to find my fish dead, at least my space hamster is cute.
Off-topic, but your avatar gives me so much nostalgia :allears: [editline]16th May 2011[/editline]
I still stand by the best romance option being Wrex.
Unpleasable fanbase all up in this bitch.
There's fanservice and then there's direct violation of character. Garrus, Jacob, Miranda, and Ashley (especially Ashley) don't really seem like the type and there's nothing through the arc describing otherwise. Garrus, maybe The rest? Not really. And Ashley? bwahahah..... no. just no.
Zevran and Leliana could be romanced by their sex in DA:O.
And Leliana was a god-tier character fuck the haters [editline]16th May 2011[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://s3.amazonaws.com/kym-assets/photos/images/original/000/114/427/POMF%20Mass%20Effect.jpg?1302932439[/img_thumb]
I posted these ages ago and got no recognition :saddowns:
And Leliana was a god-tier character fuck the haters
On my game, she took down the Archdemon with a Shattering Arrow, fuck the haters indeed
I just hope when I am playing as a male Shepard I don't accidently get in a love triangle with Kaidan and whoever else. I don't have a problem with male characters being gay if they make sense. I mean, I can see Kaidan being gay or bi to some extent, but I can't see Shepard being gay at all. But I believe there are some things in Mass Effect that can easily contradict Kaidan's homosexually. In fact, Kaidan's actually the only squad character I can see being gay. Actually, moreso Jacob. Not sure why. It's odd, though, considering how it would be like they went gay all of a sudden. Jack I can see being bi-sexual (which I was surprised that she wasn't). Since the game is about choice and all that jazz I don't think I would pursue it. Maybe on a shits-and-giggles playthrough. Most of the male characters I'd prefer be my bros and not my potential hoes. On a side-note: I wonder what they're going to do with Kelly's 'half-romance' from Mass Effect 2.
Jack I can see being bi-sexual (which I was surprised that she wasn't).
She is, even says so herself. She's just not interested in a female relationship at the moment.
She is, even says so herself. She's just not interested in a female relationship at the moment.
Guess that changes in ME3. Which, I guess makes sense what with her maturity and all. We'll see how shit goes down.
Actually, moreso Jacob. Not sure why.
For me, it was the YouTube video of him getting it on with TIM.
As long as joker becomes a romance option, I could not care less.
As long as joker becomes a romance option, I could not care less.
Joker and EDI already have something going on. I think I'd prefer witnessing that relationship unfold.
"That port was not designed for that function."
Insert memory stick into USB port :smug:
Insert memory stick into USB port :smug:
If we are already going Homo and Bi, Why not Robosexual as well
Oh wait, there's no new love interests in this game, I forgot. Which means Bioware is changing the sexual orientation of some characters
