I think you mean legshots. Also, heavy pistol + cryo rounds = excellent against husks.

I just figured that out and it's helped me so much...
Goddamn there were a lot of husks, they took down Garrus and then Grunt was surrounded managing to get away from charging a few. Retreated a fair distance while using the Mattock to finally kill them. Only after they were dead did I realise I wasn't using Cryo ammo, fuck it.
Also I had the Widow plus fully upgraded warp ammo, the Praetorian wasn't so bad.
Grunt is a terrible squadmate to have on Insanity.
Powers > Guns
Miranda is almost always good to take with you on Insanity. Thane is alright, but a tad weak. Mordin can actually have ridiculously high shields so he's a valuable asset most of the time as well.
What i meant with headshots is one shot to the head with a resonably upgraded handcannon strips most of the armor, And the squaddies take the last part. Then you can insta kill them with biotics. Smash makes them loose their legs and get stuck in the floor and push knocks them away
Well kinda unrelated, but the Mass Effect books I ordered arrived today.
I'm especially loving how Admiral Grissom talks about punching a reporter in the face :v:

I took Grunt with me on IFF mission, and he performed very well. His charge lets him level a group of husks, and he just never dies unless he gets completely surrounded. Mordin, when I brought him on Grunt's recruitment mission, always seemed to die after getting an incinerate or two off.

I play Insanity because it forces you to play better and use the powers better. 10 min a faced 2 asari sentinels with shotguns. Not feeling like walking around them so that i could see around their cover, I just keept arcing Warp above the cover until nothing stood anymore

Well, I'm getting better, when I do new game+, I may bump up to hard.
Also: If you can kick ass with 2 squadmates, what if you brought EVERYONE?
Shepard, grunt, zaeed, legion & garrus = enemies would piss their pants.

So I got the second game by owning Dragon Age 2, but now I can't start it.
It says "Ready to play", while DA2 only says "Play", but when I press the button it just shuts down.
