I forget, why was Tali smuggling geth parts in her exile mission?
And what happens when Tali does get exiled?
I haven't played ME2 in over a year.
Also why does Legion have a piece of Shepard's armor?
Also what was Bioware's excuse for the thermal clips (canon wise) and how did they say they were more efficient than infinite ammo?
Last of all what the hell were those bugs that bit and paralyzed people for the Collectors? If the Collectors were Protheans that were morphed and served as the Reaper's henchmen what were the bugs and where did they come from?

She stays on the Normandy. Still loyal, but can't go back to the fleet.

They're robotic.
Tali was sending inactive Geth parts to her father per request. They were completely harmless on their own, her father was just secretly using them to build new Geth.
Tali doesn't get exiled if you're not retarded. If she does, she still stays loyal as long as you don't present the evidence dealing with her father to the admiralty board.
Nobody knows why exactly Legion used Shep's armor. He says "No data available," when Shepard questions him about it.
Thermal clips was a concept first put to use by the Geth. Instead of shooting, waiting for the gun to cool down, then shooting again, the thermal clip system allows for more steady streams of fire to be put downrange. A guy using the thermal clip system can put out more pain in a certain period of time than a ME1 style weapon could.
Those little bugs were robotic, and most likely just injected people with a neurotoxin of sorts. How exactly they track and find humans is never explained. They were simply Collector technology, just like Collector assault rifles and whatnot.

The Geth parts were for weapon testing as far as she knew. [sp]They were actually used to rebuild Geth and find a way to fuck with their network.[/sp]
If Tali is exiled she thank's Shepard for trying to help and she stays on the Normandy, he name is changed from vas Neema to vas Normandy.
Thermal clips are used to allow more continuous fire, rather than waiting for the weapon to cool down you just replace the heat sink, the ammo system is the same. There was a system that used both you can mod in on the PC version, but it was removed before the game shipped.
The bugs were seekers, they're mechanical drones used to paralyse the Collector's victims.

one thing I don't get [sp]when you go to the hugo gernsback and you fight the feral humans/mechs they're using guns from a decade ago. Yet it's all still the same tech.[/sp]
Yeah I don't think they felt like bothering with being chronologically accurate for a mission nobody likes.
Biotics, grenades, if those don't work... melee.
And if that don't work.
There's always asteroids.
I'm more confused as to why the hoppers/sappers were removed.

Dude, what?
For people with corrupted save files:
Try to load a earlier save, when it's finished loading, load the save you want to load.
This worked for, it happens a lot with DLC saves for some unkown reason.

I think that it's because we don't face the Geth enough and the normal Geth are annoying enough
What is everyone's favorite career choice? Personally, I love Adept.
I usually play soldier, but decided to go with Vanguard on my current play through.
Vanguard and Soldier usually. Playing Sentinel now and feeling badass about it
Infiltrator. Gotta love the Widow with slowdown, takes the heads off anything, even on insanity.
Pure adept.
I can't NOT go the class that has all of the 'powers' when it's offered to me.

Barrier.
Shield.
Armour.
Fuuuuu.

I'll tell you what bothered me even more about the thermal clip thing. When Zaeed is talking about his old rifle (Bessie or whatever), he says about a time when he went mental and shot like a hundred guys with it, and then he says something like "I don't remember ejecting a thermal clip once the entire time". Well obviously not because at the time when he did this thermal clips didn't exist.
Unless it was meant to be a joke referencing the change from ME1? If so it wasn't a very good one.
You know when things get bored if you start doing all the side quests and you realize that every planet you land on is just the same layout nearly. Apart from the hills and such, the locations and "quests" are the same, I mean, even the interior is the same layout in each "planet". This is in ME1 btw.
I've got fed up now and I'll complete the rest of the UNC side quests then continue with the main story. I'm at level 56 anyway (second play through) and I've also given up trying to find a decent Armour for Tali (pathetic how she's always the first to die and Garrus n me are best buds with our 500 shield)

No thanks.
I love Adept, it can take away barriers and armor with warp, and get the energy drain bonus talent to take out shields and then biotic away!
I love Infiltrator aswell with the slow-motion zoom ability, especialy with the widow.

Okay guys, about to install Mass Effect (the original one) since I've never played the series and everybody says I'm a gigantic idiot because of that.
Anything I should know before I dabble myself into a universe full of unnecessary calibrations?

Have fun and remember to play the second Mass Effect.
Sure, sure, I've always been the "whole thing" person. Like last week when I completed the whole Assassin's Creed series from first to Brotherhood. I'll be sure to get hold of Mass Effect 2 (it's on sale for 10€ at a local supermarket) and play it through.
Once I'm finished with this one.
