If it was just French Shepard then we would of lost before anything started. Hackett: ''Shepard'' Shepard: ''Oh non, I surrender''
what if he is a reborn Napoleon
what if he is a reborn Napoleon
Impossible, he's not short enough.
They're problaby going to destroy major cities and than take the survivors as tools or resources. Like what happened to the Protheans or the colonists.
I don't think it's only major cities, but the whole living surface and marine species on the planet. After some time the bacteria will once again conquer the world and basically life on Earth will be re-started. If the human resistance will be huge, the planet is likely to be rammed with something devastating. If Shepard summons galaxy fleet to Sol System, well, the whole solar system will be nothing but a battlefield, just like the almost-centre of the galaxy. Remember, the current data, known to Citadel space in Mass Effect, about timeline of Reapers' action is over 37 million years. It took 100 years to erase the Protheans and then they have to hibernate in intergalactic void. That's the negative they have, but 100 years is still a lot for the quantity of data. With the data they process, they can build a really dangerous weapon and really clever traps, [sp]just like the Citadel itself[/sp]. So not only the life on Earth will be destroyed, if Shepard fails, but the whole planet will be turned into asteroids. But that's me, I'm not sure what BioWare has to show.
The save importing isn't really important to me. Due to a hard drive crash I lost my Dragon Age: Origins saves and couldn't import to DA2. Maybe if I get the free time I'll play through ME1 sometime, even though people in this thread say it's difficult to go back to ME1 after playing ME2.
There is no denying that there is a curve to get over, But i would say it's worth it to make your own decision, And to punch reporters [editline]7th April 2011[/editline]
I don't think it's only major cities, but the whole living surface and marine species on the planet. Maybe military bases. The shockwave of those attacks would scar the land close to the cities, But the mostly uninhabited parts would not be touched yet since it would be logical for the Reapers to take out high priority targets instead of frying the Siberian tundra or something
''Mr. Commander-reaper, should we attack important locations such as New York, Tokyo, Paris, Berlin and London first?'' ''NAHH MY MAN, JUST ATTACK ALGERIA''
Fuck,That old lady was working for the Reapers. Algeria be fucked

There's a chance the nature will be harmed. The Amazon and other rainforests is likely to get striked just to cut a big amount of oxygen in the atmosphere. Either way, the refugees and heroes(if) will settle in a larger&richer-than-Earth colony.
''Harbinger, should we attack important locations such as New York, Tokyo, Paris, Berlin and London first?'' ''NAHH MY MAN, JUST ATTACK ALGERIA''
From what I could see of Africa in that picture, it seems to be fairly developed by now.
Sweet. Also welcome back Phaedon. Haven't seen you around in a while
It's difficult to keep up with the pace of the thread unfortunately, but I still lurk it.
With a weird fan base.
Ever searched "SpongeBob" on that rule34 site?
here you go then [img_thumb]http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd424/breenIsALie/3u16pbg9.png[/img_thumb]
Much better.
I makes sense that Africa could become the most densely populated area. Think of it, discovering eezo and whatnot shot human technology forward a few hundred years very quickly. Before you could apply those new technologies to current populated areas (like New York), you'd have to tear down all of the old buildings/infrastructure and build from the ground up since technology jumped forward so fast. However, if Africa is still relatively empty at that time, no tearing down is necessary and you could just start slapping extremely advanced buildings and whatnot all over the place.
Oh god, please release this picture as a wallpaper. It would look so good on my screen...
I'm tempted to try to remove both the Gameinformer text and Shepard, In order to just have the Reapers in view

While every human enjoys longer and better life then ever, the gap between rich and poor widens daily. Advanced nations have eliminated most genetic disease and pollution. Less fortunate regions have not progressed beyond 20th century technology, and are often smog-choked, overpopulated slums.

Nah in the Earth codex they talk about how the 3rd world is stuck using 21st century tech and consist of "smog-choked slums" while the West enjoys green megacities.
Should just have sold all Africans to the Baterians :colbert:
Should just have sold all Africans to the Baterians :colbert:
Now that is MEAN AND RACIST. See, we probably tried, but the batarians would have no use for them.
Should just have sold all Africans to the Baterians :colbert:
Obligatory ''YOU HUMANS ARE ALL RACIST''
Should just have sold all Africans to the Baterians :colbert:
A German saying that. Oh, the irony.
