God damnit... there was one more thing I wanted to write about; thought of it in the shower, got out, got dressed, and forgot what it was...
Well, there is that.

Also, Am I cool now? :buddy:
The avatar helps, Your getting there
And now, After a Maraton session of ME2 (7 hrs) I have FINALLY played arrival. Fells like I'm late to the party but that the hell.
Chose Morinth
Reactivated Legion like a bro
Did almost no o the small planetscan missions
Everyone in squad survived
Crew lost
Romanced Liara
Played Arrival, Awesome but short. Gloating yellow hologram at the end startled me
After doing that, The autumn is way to far away
Seeing how overly sexualised they've made Ash makes me glad I Virmire'd her.
I know most folk don't like him, but I'll be glad to be rollin' with my bro Kaidan again

Yeah, that's kind of got me worried too. I liked Ashley because she was normal... Now it looks like she's Miranda's clone. It's only concept art, I hope it looks better in the final game.
Kaidan is such a pussy, but I hate Ashley too.
If it were up to me, I would have Virmire'd both of them.
Do you guys know if those "save game files generators" (Or whatever it's called) includes all the assignments completed?
I want to romance with Liara in ME2 but I can't since I haven't in ME1. I don't want to play in a save game without everything done, neither start another game in ME1. Shame on me. :smith:
I know i'm late, Did that little tweaking to get legion unlocked before iff. It has been quite amusing thus far.
You try to bayonet prisoners?
He's not alone. I shoot injured bandits in the head in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. all the time.

It's one thing putting your hair down, but she seems to also have gone up a cup size or two.
Oh Bioware...:Dawkins102: (this emote was the closest I could find to my general reaction)
I'm still putting my Virmire decision down to a "tactical choice".
Does someone have the links to the HD ME2 character models? Trying to make this ME2 playthrough as pretty as possible, so I'm going all in.

Found 'em! Here's the link for anyone who may be interested.

That hasn't been updated in a while, Jean luc has made more since then. FYI, not all the mods are in the op. Here is the thread: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/128/index/5314761/1 Still waiting on the N7 armor though.
Last thing I'll talk about for now... Mass Effect Anime... Some of you may know this- others perhaps not- but I DEEPLY loathe anime. Now, to be fair there are some animes I have liked, so I will remain open to the idea of Mass Effect in an anime form. That is, of course, if they gear towards anime's acute attention to detail and skillful artistry and refrain from the anime antics. That means, no spiky hair-dos, no annoying female characters being more macho than guys, no anime 'humor', and all those little clichés that you see in just about every anime. If it has an Akira-like grit or Miyazaki detail I'll be content (at least from an animation stand-point). I'm not sure whether to trust FUNimation to make it good or not, but nonetheless I'll wait until I see it.
Oh man, Akira-esque Mass Effect anime.
"WREEEEEEEEEXXXXXXXXXXX!!!!!"
"SHEPARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!"
That style died long ago. It'll probably be something similar to the Dead Space animes.
Also maybe you can only use certain teammates in certain sectors of space, like you have a set amount of "on the ship" squadmates and then you could travel to Tuchanka to help repel Reapers with Grunt as a temporary squadmate.
Wasn't the Dead Space Animes more American comic animation?
Last mass effect game?
Huh...
Commander Shepard has already saved the galaxy twice, but the final entry in the Mass Effect trilogy could be either the hero's last stand or finest hour. Earth is in jeopardy, entire civilizations are at risk, and we've got all the details. Our latest issue has 12 pages of exclusive info, screens, and art that no Mass Effect fan should miss.
holy shit it's a conspiracy!
also, there was a lot of info on ME3 in Gameinformer and some sexy pictures
Yeah. Big Spoilers:
[sp]According to Destructoid and Rocket Paper Shotgun: Mordin, Legion and Wrex may not be part of our team in ME3. Cerberus will want to kill us (It's unknown if it's due to our choices in ME2). The game will begin with Shepard on a trial because of his/her acts from Arrival, then I think the Reapers come and he/she will try to escape from Earth to look for help[/sp]

I was just as surprised at how well it synced as I was when I noticed the words they're singing in the Skyrim trailer are in Dragon.
Finally remembered the last thing I wanted to talk about.
I hope squad members can die on missions prior to the finale. Something like Virmire, but not limited to the same characters. Some kind of factor effects whoever you choose to do a job or something. Basically adding the elements of the Suicide Mission decision consequences throughout the game rather than just at the end.
I also really hope they have a Dragon Age inspired epilogue. I really want to see and hear (instead of text with an image, why not a short video for the more important epilogues?) the ultimate fates of each race and character I've met.
I just hope I can walk off the Normandy myself again. Just being able to do that one little thing made the game all more immersive.
Also is the game completely done after you finish the story in 1? You can't free roam and tie up loose ends like you can in 2?
The last mission will properly be in Washington. But depending how much time you spend in London.
They only showed that so we know where might go first or at some stage. We'll get that new character who seems to be in the rooftop clock tower.
I only say D.C aka Washington because basically that's the last remaining defense of all mankind of Americans.
Captain Anderson better be a character.

Just because it was in the trailer doesn't mean it will be in the game.

Why would it be so? There's plenty of other potential choices, like Ottawa perhaps. :v:

The Game Informer scan tentatively confirmed he will be a character, so yeah.
man the background combat music for pragia is perfect.

That would be interesting to see, given that D.C. got the shit beat out of it during the 2nd American Civil War (wonder what building's survived or were destroyed.)
As good as these images are all looking they had better not fucking retcon the hell out of the Reapers and go, "what do you mean 2 kilometres long?! Only the Vanguard is that big!"
I mean, granted, there's no point of reference for a size comparison at the end of ME2, but the approaching Reaper fleet? Each individual Reaper is obviously meant to be big. And then there was the whole ME3 trailer in which the Reapers were OBVIOUSLY huge (at least 1 kilometre in length (taking the London Eye as a reference point).
Hopefully, as was suggested earlier, they're just a different kind of Reaper. Maybe smaller Reapers that are deployed from the larger bastards in orbit to abduct and huskify inhabitants of the planet they're attacking.
Quick, someone give me a run-down of what happens in arrival

[sp] you destroy the relay and delay reapers, killing 300 000 batarians in progress [/sp]
