Words of jennifer hale and I agree with it. Will be male on my me1-me2-me3 save though.
I don't play RPGs to get a boner every time I see my character, and it's pretty bad if you pick a character purely because they have tits. This kind of thinking perpetuates the Lonely Nerd stereotype.
I play as who I feel like playing as, most of the time it's the actions of the character that make it an 'avatar' of me rather than the looks or abilities.
Also, I think that DLC choices/storyline will be covered in the beginning comic thingy, with buying DLC having the benefit of having more story detail, control over choices, and actually playing the events.
If Jennifer Hale said that, than she's a skank and sexist.
I dunno about the skank thing but she does sound hella sexist in the interview.
I wonder if the reapers killed the dinosaurs?
[sp]So in arrival, in the end what's the score with the reapers? are they still in dark space? (haven't played)[/sp]
[sp]After finishing it, they are in the Galaxy.[/sp]
How exactly is nobody complaining about this? It is bullshit! What the hell happened to DLC being side quests? I haven't the first idea what the fuck happened in the Arrival DLC because I didn't buy it. I'd hoped that fucking playing through ME2 would be enough, but nooooooooo. You have to play the Arrival DLC. I mean come on what?
This is fucking stupid.
WANT THE REAL ENDING? PAY MORE MONEY LOL.
Never forget their ultimate sacrifice
I want some epic dino reaper game now
:saddowns:
Maybe that's why Grunt was researching dinosaurs, he was smart enough to recognise the truth to their extinction!
Maybe turians are the ancestors of T-Rexes
:allears:
Mass Effect spin-off playing as dinosaurs.

Don't you mean the Krogan?

Here's the next best thing though.

[sp]You know, I don't really like how the Reapers are invading. To me it feels like killing it. If you show it once or twice it's great, but when you show it like 1000 times and have a billion Reapers and make them constantly defeated by Shepard, it really, really kills off that atmosphere.[/sp]
than what the hell else are they gonna do.

What.
Shepard has only defeated one Reaper, Sovereign.
What.

:frog: Mass Effect 3
Yeah, and after he beats those Reapers, it's over, that's the climax. It's not like he's just going to be constantly whooping Reaper ass for 3 more games.

Agreed. That's why they should've kept the Reapers all Sovereign's size and shape, and only be able to have ships or super weapons bring them down.
Yeah, and after he beats those Reapers, it's over, that's the climax. It's not like he's just going to be constantly whooping Reaper ass for 3 more games.
Yes but like you said he only beat one and it took and ENTIRE game to beat it. And in-game it took many ships and lives to destroy it, and it almost didn't work in time.
And now Shepard can kill them all willy nilly? :colbert:
It's called shitty plot writing :colbert:
Who says Shepard is going to be killing Reapers willy nilly?
It's going to be Shepard alongside the combined forces of the other races killing Reapers, and even then, I'm willing to bet tons of people will die.
The only way we know so far to really kill a full Reaper is to destroy it's avatar [sp](Saren)[/sp], knocking out the shields, allowing it to be blown up conventionally. It's going to be interesting to see how we can kill one if they don't all have an avatar.
Anyone else know that in ME2 they wanted Shepard (And still do) to be an avatarÉ :v:.

Don't be worried about this.
In Star Trek, the Borg were the most terrifying sons of bitches in the universe. They took out entire fleets with just one ship. They were relentless. But somewhere along the line, the shows made them out to be fairly stoppable, which detracted from the whole "unstoppable force of nature" idea, which is basically what the Reapers are.
But then this new Star Trek book comes out, and the Borg come back in force, with thousands of ships and trillions of drones. And yeah, the heroes and Starfleet/the Federation can fight back against the Borg, but just barely. Thousands of ships are still lost, hell, the Borg just plow through fleets, literally. They just ram them. Even though almost 12 years ago they were made out to be nothing more than the Big Bad that could be easily ass kicked by the heroes, they were now once again an absolutely horrifying, seemingly unstoppable enemy.
That's what ME3 is going to be like. The Reapers have, for all intents and purposes, won in a few respects; Shepard didn't stop them from coming entirely, they're here. And on top of that, they've attacked Earth and already killed millions of people. The Reapers may have been reduced to the semi-stoppable Big Bad in ME2, but in ME3, they're once again a horrifying force of nature. It took a fleet of ships, including reinforcements from the Alliance, and the Destiny Ascension to take out Sovereign/Nazara. Yes, there's some technicalities because of the fact that it had a fleet of Geth supporting it, but still. Imagine 400 of those.

Not necessarily. It's implied Sovereign was on the verge of death and transferred itself into the implants in Saren, utilizing him as it's avatar. From that moment, Sovereign essentially became a giant semiorganic ship with basic operating skills.
[editline]9th April 2011[/editline]
Also, do you guys think that the Reapers qualify as cosomozoan life? Or are they full machine? I mean, it seems more likely that they're cybernetic(and after ME2...).
and the Destiny Ascension to take out Sovereign/Nazara.
The Destiny Ascension did not attack Sovreign, it's designed for long range, system to system fighting, like a galactic artillery piece, it's own defences would have been worthless against Sovreign. If it DID attack him a lot more live probably would have been saved.
