So by the looks of the last couple posts Bioware went lazy on the choice branching in this one. :saddowns: Oh well I still enjoyed this DLC.
To be honest, I can't see the choices being too branching in this one; clearly the lack of choice shows how important this is plot-wise. Shepherd on trial is the lead-in for ME3.
Well after you beat it you're ship is [sp]in the Sol system[/sp]. Seems like an obvious leave off for ME3.
I want a renegade option that is going to say "You can't handle the truth!!!". It will be awesome, and I bet they'll include it. It's the perfect setup and very fitting.

The game automatically saves for import, shows a nice little cutscene, and then maybe a sneak peek at Mass Effect 3, then goes back to the main menu. Bam, officially done with ME2.
The ship being there is obviously just one of Gavorn's tricks. Don't be deceived!
he guys which DLC is worth my money? the shadow broker or the arrival? the arrival is cheaper i think IDK. Also which one will give me the most play time the shadow broker?
Shadow Broker fo sure.
Shadow Broker is definitely badass.
Shadow Broker. Arrival did not impress me at all. I could have been done in a short movie. It didn't even have any significant paragon/renegade moments. Should have been free imo. And I think it's pretty stupid that you can play Arrival before you actually beat the main mission. It actually takes away from the urgency and importance of the main mission.
What happens if [sp]we warn the batarians and don't shoot the doctor?[/sp]
[sp] Kenson cuts off your transmission and grenades herself, costing you a half hour on your timer [/sp]
I was kind of dissapointed how short Arrival was, i'm definately going to replay it on a character i've finished the suicide mission on, since a lot of the dialogue for me seemed to be pre-suicide mission. Would be interesting to see how different it is. Also, i was porting stuff from Arrival, and i found this: [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9988278/mystery.jpg[/img_thumb] It's an unused skin for the partisan armor, no idea why it's in there. The logo on it seems familiar but i don't know why.
So is there any new squadmates from Arrival? Or is it just story?
I'm fucking pumped for ME3. My heart was racing during that convo with hackett. Could've ended like you are all suggesting though.
Anyone know the modding command to give ammo? Is it like "giveammo #"?
I'm a total Paragade. I tend to be Paragon, but if I see a situation where quick decisive action is needed, like shooting the remote out of someone's hand, or someone's got me at gunpoint, i'll usually do the renegade option. [editline]31st March 2011[/editline] Or if it makes you look like a badass, for example I beat the shit out of that guy during Thane's loyalty mission because he was a total dick.
you beat the shit out of that guy because I told you to do so.
Finished ME2 tonight (excluding Shadow Broker/Arrival). Damn that was fuckin awesome!!! Seriously cinematic finale!
Finished ME2 tonight (excluding Shadow Broker/Arrival). Damn that was fuckin awesome!!! Seriously cinematic finale!
Seriously one of the best cliffhanger endings of all time (I consider it a cliffhanger). I've heard bad things about DA2 and I hope that doesn't happen to ME3 and its launch.

I feel bad for the shaman. And I love how the new alt appearance pack gives EVERYONE a visor, even Tali. I never noticed til I went down to buy the shield upgrade, and I did a double take.
Bioware. We need a third pack. There are still visorless people in this game.
It's strange that no one talks about fourth ME book coming this September.
'cause it'll be out in September, not in two months.
I wonder why Drew isn't writing it.
[sp]Destroying the relay just slowed the Reapers down, it destroyed the system by creating a supernova(-like reaction?). It probably didn't destroy any Reapers, though it may have damaged some, given that supernovae take only minutes to ingulf a system but they take a while to recede. It also can't have propelled them in the opposite direction, to do that it would need to spray a LOT of mass at them, and supernovae don't do that.[/sp]
[sp]Wut. That's essentially ALL supernova are. An ENTIRE star expanding outwards very rapidly: trillions and trillions of tonnes of mass being propelled outwards at insane velocities.[/sp]

A fucking ton of energy, mind you, so it still could have propelled them.[/sp]
I played up til the Citadel in ME2 and realised that I killed the Council, it made me sad. So I went back and redid the last bit of ME1 so I had a new save where they weren't dead. [editline]31st March 2011[/editline] Also this.
-snip- forgot about mass relays.
What?
I always loved how everyone yells their responses after you gained control of the Citadel.
