Took the video trying to get that, then she apparently fell in a hole and her yelling seemed appropriate.
I played up til the Citadel in ME2 and realised that I killed the Council, it made me sad. So I went back and redid the last bit of ME1 so I had a new save where they weren't dead. [editline]31st March 2011[/editline] Also this. View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=KgBR2niIsLk
I thought it was kinda bullshit that you can only get an audience with the council if it's the old one. If they died and a new council is instilled, they 'refuse to see you'. Lame [editline]31st March 2011[/editline] I've no doubt that the old council will appear at least a tiny bit in ME3, but it'd suck if those that killed them don't get to ever see the new council.
Wait a sec, [sp]if you go to Earth and face trial at the start of ME3, it doesn't matter if you're a Spectre or not. The council reinstated your Spectre status in ME2 and it was all for nothing because you just went to jail on your own.[/sp] That's bullshit.
[sp]$5 you can just tell them to blow it up their ass right at the beginning of ME3 if you're a Spectre[/sp]
[sp]That would require Renegade points and at the start of ME3, you have no intimidate skills.[/sp] Or something like that which would force it into linearity.
Wait a sec, [sp]if you go to Earth and face trial at the start of ME3, it doesn't matter if you're a Spectre or not. I'm pretty sure they don't reinstate your status. You have to ask, in one game I didn't, in another I did. And I remember Shepard never mentioning being a Specter ever again when he said he didn't want it reinstated. :colbert: Maybe my memory SUCKS TALI MELONS [editline]31st March 2011[/editline] By this, I mean, it's not forced.
[sp]If you saved the council and did the Paragon option when you met them, they reinstate your Spectre status as long as you stay in the Terminus system. Doesn't seem to make much of an impact and even when interogating that guy you can claim to be a Spectre regardless. Probably don't mention it because not like being a Spectre means anything in the Terminus. Still, it was flimsy as fuck and they'd probably kick you out after killing a heap of Batarians anyway.[/sp]
Oh, the only games I did, the council was dead. I need to go reply ME2 :v:
The only time Shepard mentions he's a spectre (if you got reinstated) is when you interrogate kalehm (or what he's called agian), then you need a fuckload of renegade points tough. Still, you can't hide behind your Spectre status on such outcome. And pehaps if you played pure renegade in ME1 and ME2 you can have some extra renegade points to do the "blow it our your ass" move. If that fails, we could call the Turian councelor, he'll just dismiss the batarian claim and we can move on.
ill resave the council just to see that turian shit his pants as 100s of reapers come out of nowhere and fuck the citadel up, killing him. Also would be pretty cool if the final battle for mass effect 3 would be in the citadel, would be kind of iconic since the end boss in mass effect 1 was in the citadel.
The only time Shepard mentions he's a spectre (if you got reinstated) is when you interrogate kalehm (or what he's called agian), then you need a fuckload of renegade points tough.
Not the only. In the mission with stolen credit chit, when doing paragon interrupt, Shepard will say: 1) If he's not reinstalled Spectre status: "You think you can run in a former Spectre?" 2) If he did: "You think you can run in a Spectre?" Also in LotSB Vasir will comment about Shepard being reinstalled.
Nah, it's probably an important plot element that you have to do. Unless half way through it the Reapers attack and Shepard is like "I told you man, I told you about Reapers" and then runs off into the Normandy 3. In which case it's pointless to do the Renegade Blow out it your ass anyway.
ill resave the council just to see that turian shit his pants as 100s of reapers come out of nowhere and fuck the citadel up, killing him.
Actually he was bluffing the entire time, the Turian hierarchy obviously knows something about the Reapers since they have the Thanix cannons and all (plus the events from the comic) so he'll just do the smuggest Turian face you can possible imagine when seventy fleets armed with the latest Reaper tech appear out of his ass
They claim it was a sophisticated Geth ship, Geth weaponry is itself very nice and hard to reproduce. They could very easily say it was Geth tech and no-one would second guess it.
[sp]Import, you get 5 levels right at the beginning, you need to walk manually to the hearing, Escape button works. FUCK THE POLITICS[/sp] [editline]31st March 2011[/editline]
[sp]If you saved the council and did the Paragon option when you met them, they reinstate your Spectre status as long as you stay in the Terminus system. I'm not sure if it was in a codex, but I'm quite sure it's true.
Speaking of Turian aggression, didn't their codex state they would conquer the other races if they could, but it just wasn't convenient?
They have the military power, or did at one point. Main reason is they've only got to compete with the Salarians and Asari. With humans and if we were to use Krogans in some way, they wouldn't be able to take our combined forces. Really though, if they did that then everything would fall apart for them. They would have to subdue all other races and would fuck it up with marshall law and it would be a huge drain on everything for them. Wouldn't be worth it.
Turians have to compete with Turians? :v:
What's the name of that civil war they had, Unification war or something?

Pfft, that's obviously a Geth ship. Look at how curvy it is, the Geth do everything like that. [editline]1st April 2011[/editline] I mean look at the Geth Plasma Shotgun, it looks like a bunch of purple dildos tied together. Hot

Well he's CIA we can't hold him responsible right? There's a point where you have to hold your agents responsible for their actions. It also might've been different if it was council space, but it's Batarian space.
Just had a random thought, in the time one Asari councillor serves, they'd also go through about 50 Salarian councilors

Also the Council/Alliance can't charge you for stuff that happens beyond their juristiction.
Normandy has a Scottish engineer, gotta be a Trek reference... Right? [editline]31st March 2011[/editline] Or am I just fishing for one?
