Zaeed and Garrus best squad all day every day.
Garrus and Legion best squad all day every day.
Yeah Zaeed's pretty badass
No Wrex love in here? You humans are all racist!
I hope we get a choice to calm cerberus in their attempt to murder you.
What if Cerberus wants you for the same reasons the Reapers want you? What if there's something about Shepard that makes him vital to the Reaper's true success. The Illusive Man found this out somehow some way and decided killing you is the best option. Are you not, afterall, implanted with Reaper tech? Maybe there's something inside of Shepard that makes him a threat to the universe without even realizing it? An idle thought... probably nothing, could be everything.
The GI article did say that the reason TIM is trying to kill Shepard is a massive plot reveal/twist, so it's definitely not just for "You betrayed me and now you have to die." What if TIM was indoctrinated all along, ever since his encounter with the relic during the FCW?
I'd rather use a re-occurring character than one that gets used in one game. Sorry Wrex, but you are shelved. Permanently.

I'd rather Shepard remained a badass soldier that gets shit done rather than becoming the "chosen one" or some shit.

Maybe he becomes indoctrinated at some point during ME2 and ME3.
Who are the major countries on Earth in Mass Effect? I remember reading something about the USNA, China, and the EU fighting over planet colonization rights in one of the planet descriptions. Pretty much sounds like how it is now. I guess that's why the Reapers seem to be hitting Africa first.
I would laugh my ass off if Kim Jong Il's bloodline is still in power and the KPA fights some big ass battle with the Reapers.
The reason why most of the fanbase likes quarians is because of tali anyways.

I hope we get a choice to calm cerberus in their attempt to murder you.
It would really suck if you had to kill all of your Cerberus buddies in ME3. Or if the Alliance pulls the dick move of executing all of your Cerberus crew when they impound your ship. Oh god, what if they killed Joker?
I hope not. I'd rather Shepard remained a badass soldier that gets shit done rather than becoming the "chosen one" or some shit.
The thing is he sort of IS 'The Chosen One' now. I mean, he wasn't to start out with. He was simply a case of right man in the right place. But he made himself into the chosen one by distinguishing himself through his actions. He became the first human spectre, saved the galaxy and gained himself so much respect that Cerberus decided to bring him back from the fucking dead. He wasn't the chosen one to begin with. But... he made himself that way.

That being said, I wouldn't bat an eye if they removed Jacob or Miranda. I bet any character that has an outstanding warrant on their head won't be with you during ME3, or at least not in most of the game. He earned it through blood, sweat, and heat sinks, and that's something to admire.
There's no way Joker could die in the beginning of the game (although I have a very strong feeling he'll die by the end of Mass Effect 3)
I have a feeling that many- if not all- large/key characters throughout the series can die depending on your actions in Mass Effect 3. Speaking of which, I hope people can die throughout the game and not just at the finale.

But theres still Chakwas, Kelly and company, and if I remember correctly, the Alliance has a zero tolerance stance on any Cerberus activity.
Wait so you won't be fighting generic mercs through all of me3???? :gizz:

The reason TIM brought Shepard back might have been to get a hold of the collector base. He is an "end justifies the means" kinda guy. Think about it, the costs of bringing Shepard back is nothing compared to what would be gained from the base, and it also fits in with the plot; save the base, and you're of no further use, and a loose end. Destroy the base, and well, you just cost TIM several billion dollars, and a way to power.

Having Shepard on your side would be more valuable than tying up loose ends.
I'm wondering how Overlord and Kasumi DLC decisions will affect ME3.
But what about those who played full Renegade and agreed with TIM? Having Shepard on your side would be more valuable than tying up loose ends.
Also I hope that TIM realizes by this point that anything that stands against Shepard has a tendency of dying.
Also I hope that TIM realizes by this point that anything that stands against Shepard has a tendency of dying.
Exactly why whatever turns The Illusive Man against Shepard must be a huge revelation. Shepard has proven to be a force to be reckoned with even against god-like Reapers.
Exactly why whatever turns The Illusive Man against Shepard must be a huge revelation. Joker as a squad member would be fun.
Joker as a romance option would be even better. :allears:

I mean his skill is being a pilot. he can just about fire an assault rifle but apart from that he has no skills that can be utilised on the field. That reminds me, I really hope there's more awesome sequences like the joker-mission in ME2. That was one of the very best moments of the game imo
I had Tali [sp]die on my suicide mission. Glad I won't have to spend the third game with her.[/sp] I just find it odd how so many people have this creepy obsession over her. Anyone have a clue why?
