I guess I need to read up on my Drell history. If they're basically the same as humans but with amazing memory, think of the mechanical, mathematical, and scientific advancements the universe could make with those sorts of powers. The Hanar are keeping them under close watch, but with a bit of government management they could organize the Drell into a great species. They were humbled once by the war and never got out of it because of their memories.
Of course, a similar argument could be used to support the enlargement of human life too. You could say that we've learned here that no race really deserves being erased, and that they all have great potential.

Bioware say they are paying attention to the popular squadmates and that led me to thinking who the unpopular squadmates are. Who is there that no-one really likes?
I guess of them, Jacob, Samara and Thane aren't as well liked as the others. Thane'll probably die soon anyway.

Should be interesting to see who dies though. Good chance a fair few will die if you didn't do things just right. Seems likely that you can minimise who dies with a perfect playthrough but it's not going to make you miss out on anything, just get a sadder ending with some corpses.

Tali keeps dying in the Vents regardless how i swing it, I did a dickmove and made Jack squad leader, regardless who i choose with me Tali always makes platonic death love with a Rocket to the face when they seal the door
I have No saves for before and can't re choose who goes in, any suggestions?
It always made sense to me to stick Legion in the vents. He's a tech specialist AND he's synthetic. Heat isn't really as much of a worry to him as it is to a squishy, organic.

Same here, I've only ever used Legion for that job. As long as he's loyal and I do my part, everything works out fine.
Come to think of it, in 4 playthroughs I've never lost a single person on the suicide mission, including the Normandy crew. But that's not surprising because I like to be thorough, yet aggressive when need be.
