Thane's homeworld (Rakhana) is an arid planet. The Hanar homeworld (Kahje) is too humid and causes Kepral's Syndrome in Drell who can't or don't stay in special arid buildings.
Tali has never been on her homeworld and the Flotilla didn't seem very humid.
