Waste of credits IMO
I can see them saying it's because the SR-1's fuel budget was on the Alliance's tab, but really ask yourself, did the addition of fuel make the game better then if it was simply removed? How many people simply grumbled when they saw their fuel reserves get low, just waste time going back to the Relay system, then refueling just to go back out.
Well you needed to spend them on something And once again at the start of ME3 the Alliance will confiscate your fortune and leave you ~10k credits at best
I really hope that Bioware makes the DLC system in ME3 more simple and clear. I was never able to download any DLC (even free DLC) to my ME2 because it was waaay too complicated. Of course it'd be better if there would be no DLC at all, but we all know that's not gonna happen.
It sounds like something that a crazy guy like, I dunno, Charles Manson would say to some teenage girls who he was about to rape, skin alive, then put the skins on like a suit and eat the other stuff. At least, that's the kind of stuff I would say. Not like some "misunderstood race of tragic heroes."
Go to war enough and eventually the killing will just become another part of your day to you. That, or you'll develop PTSD. Normally people who see so much death don't just stay the same. They either get really desensitised because of it, or it fucks them up severely. It's possible the Reapers started off being more noble about what they were doing but after a while it just sort of destroyed any remaining morality they had left and left them as they are now. Completely devoid of any morality, just doing what they need to do, getting it over and done with as quickly as possible, and leaving again. I was just theorising as to how the Reapers may fit in with the OBVIOUS foreshadowing of dark energy damaging stars.

And yes, the the Alliance will probably take all of your money and put it into funding a no-kill shelter for Varren or something.

Log in to the same account you have ME2 on, buy DLC, download, install, log in on the same account and play?
Oh? Because I had credits falling out of every cupboard and shelf on the Normandy by the end of the game, and I had bought everything there was to buy

I probably had enough to learn a new power 3 times over Or limited the amount of Eezo found
They should have come up with more stuff to do with Eezo. I probably had enough to learn a new power 3 times over Or limited the amount of Eezo found
I thought eezo was quite limited? It was definately the least plentiful resource by far.
Tali was pretty desperate, don't judge her.
I thought eezo was quite limited? It was definately the least plentiful resource by far.
Yeah. It's just that you get far more than you'd ever need with New Game+ bonuses, since it's like 50k of each resource.
Just finished the first Mass Effect and I got to say that it was the best game I've played in ages. [sp]Through, the ending made me sad, wish there was a way to save Saren, he was so nice at the end...he knew what Sovereign was doing to him...he suicided...he thanked me. Rest in peace Saren. [/sp]
From ME2 OST, Samara: One of the best tracks but it's ignored for some reason.

I remember that track very well for some reason. And I don't think it's anything special.
New info about, well, gun sounds. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2011/04/18/the-sound-design-of-mass-effect-3.aspx [editline]18th April 2011[/editline]
It has a really Eastern feel to it, is it not because the Asari culture is based on Japan?
I didn't think it was oriental, actually. It felt kinda Egyptian to me. Not sure if these guys count as part of the Western or the Eastern civilization.

Yay, more chat with the sound guys. And some insight maybe
Saren was a Complete Monster WAY before he met Sovereign.
He may be. But I accept him, I would have loved to fight along side with him...maybe in another storyline.
Gun sounds can really make a game addictive, imo. It's great to hear that they are improving them in ME3. [editline]18th April 2011[/editline]
He may be. Saren for squadmate in ME3
Let me guess, paragon?
Yes, mostly.
He may be. But I accept him, I would have loved to fight along side with him...maybe in another storyline.
Yes, go have fun with a person who slaughters hundreds of people for a distraction. [editline]18th April 2011[/editline] hundreds of innocent people. [editline]18th April 2011[/editline] And basically kills either the planet's or the city's financial ability at the same time.
Yes, go have fun with a person who slaughters hundreds of people for a distraction.
Basically TIM without Martin Sheen?

The deal is just that he surprised me emotionaly. The whole nemesis stuff, the whole hate he got for Shepard, the intent to kill, and then [sp]at the end when he said Thanks Shepard it was just...[/sp]
What Mass Effect 2 lacked was a big antagonist, like Saren. But we know that ME3 will have at least one good antagonist.
What Mass Effect 2 lacked was a big antagonist, like Saren. At least we know that ME3 will have at least one good antagonist.
Well Harbinger and TIM are gonna be the main ones.
Well Harbinger and TIM are gonna be the main ones.
And then you meet TIM's son...
Well Harbinger and TIM are gonna be the main ones.
TIM is the one I am referring to. Harbinger sounded impressive in Arrival, and not shooting the Collectors he assumed control of certainly helped. We can hope.
And then you meet TIM's son...
Wasn't sure if that was a reference to Starcraft until I remembered who voices TIM. In that Soundeffects video, you can see the Mass Effect 3 Menu on the top screen, looks pretty similar to ME2 but more of a purple blue colour.
