I also played it and the only thing I can say is for a One-Man-Team Top-Down Shooter... Epic Win!
It is just so much fun kicking butt in this game and the Skills just amplify that by 2. Can't wait for 0.6!

Just played as BeardyDuck and goddamn it's annoying when they spawnkill.
Give it another try gReplay. When you spawn you have 10s of invulnerability which allows you to buy weapons and get ready to fight. You'll know you're invulernable because you'll be able to see a gray octagon surrounding your character.
This invulnerabilty disables as soon as you fire a weapon or use a skill however, which you may have been doing. It's much better to buy a gun first and then fire, than to start shooting with the starting pistol. Anyway, good playing with you :)
I will keep it simple: One of the best games I have played in time.
The GUI is somewhat clunky, and there are some balancing issues, but the features...
Seriously, I would pay for this game. It's really awesome interpretation of the top-down CS style shooter, with interesting mutation twist. Really, proceed with that great work.

It's really fun, although when someone posted earlier about the game favoring experienced players, he wasn't lying. But then again, what game doesn't. You get better the more you play.
This is really really fun, definitely recommend the download.
I always feel all nice and fuzzy inside when I see people's hard work pay off, in this case a good game.

Holy shit! Built in map editor! The video looks amazing.
Now, I have a problem. Everytime I try to launch it, it crashes immediately and Window's Data Protection stops it from loading. Has anyone got any idea how to stop it? I tried allowing it and apparently the game HAS to run with it enabled.. Therefore crashing it.

2 words: Fucking Amazing! way better than CS2D and I love the use of RPG like skills!
1 prob though, theres a little bit of mouse delay, but other than that, I'm going to keep playing this.

No, it's actually the same principle as CS2D, but it has much much more features. For example real Z axis action, as you can climb on roof and snipe people. There is also upgrades system, which gives you both "Spells" and passive abilities.

As I mentioned before I think the lack of players is the biggest problem right now. Especially for a multiplayer only game.. not much fun playing on your own. If anyone has any suggestions on where I could post or how I could spread the word please tell!
A few more gamemodes will be good. Zombie mode seems like a popular suggestion. In version 0.6 when I add vehicles there will be a racing mode.. really simple, first one to the finish line wins. You can kill, drive, do whatever it takes.
Link345, I can help troubleshoot you if you like. My first suggestion would be to update your graphics drivers. If you navigate to C:\Subvein\data\log.txt and paste that file into here I might be able to help better. There are also lots of suggestions on the [url=http://subvein.net/forum/]forums[/url] and reading the [url=http://subvein.net/faq.php]FAQ[/url] would help a lot too - not only for bug fixing but also for how to play the game. It has PICTURES!

I can see me being the guy that drives ahead with a fast vehicle, takes out the rocket launcher, and just fires blindly down the track, hoping to hit someone.
Maybe not even from in front. Just behind everyone, fire blindly forwards till someone dies. Or from the back of a vehicle. Now that'd be great.

You should have a virus mode, like in Timesplitters, where one person is infected and they have to touch you to get you infected, and it goes on until everyone is infected or the time runs out.
You should put this on your CV.
I think a zombie mode would definitely be cool. Also, have you considered adding flamethrowers?
