I have a 22" widescreen main with a 19" to the right of it. I kinda want a second 19" for the other side.

Aaw, that is too bad. Still, it shows we're going to get ourselves treated with some nice changes!
You bet your sweet ass you will. The team's modeler commented just yesterday that we were more and more becoming unique as we went on. We're changing things quite subtly so that they're noticeable if you've played SoC/CS, but if you hadn't they'd seem like the devs had done it on purpose. A quite good comparison is that we're 'doing a Clear Sky' - revamping old locations with better features, updated for a different time period (that still makes sense) and adding new features entirely. But, y'know, without the (somewhat) shittiness of Clear Sky! [editline]26th April 2011[/editline] I'll probably eventually do articles on notable locations showing some of what's changed. 'Spotlight on the Rookie Village' or whatever for instance.
So I start my first Oblivion Lost playthrough where I go further than the Cordon. I have taken some pictures of my travels and will post them soon for your [sp]hopefully[/sp] pleasure.
You should totally have some quest or something in WotW relating to the merc suit in the rookie village.

Just cracked open my install of SoC with Oblivion Lost 2.2. It's good to be back in the Zone fellow Stalkers! Also has anyone been reading about the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster? It's sad to read about the effects of the disaster on the real former inhabitants of the Zone.

Although the Monolith troops are pretty good interior decorators, stalker and mutant heads on rebar spikes. Brilliant.

Also, possible features : *Radiation affecting your vision,stamina etc. instead of health damage but you can't detect it or heal it completely unless you consult a medic. The drugs will help with the effects but only temporarily *More hostile spawns. Mercs in Zaton+Yanov and more random Monolith patrols in Pripyat. I'm not a huge fan of Complete for CoP (since holy hell why would I want something that's [b]easier[/b] than vanilla CoP?) but if the addon would adjust trading prices to make for more survival feel it would be interesting. At least it would be something while waiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2/WotW after I've played Redux enough.
