Also, Lost Alpha's new map:

Wtf ?
Eh, does anyone happen to know/have a guess whether the lakes/water pools in the exclusion zone would be extra hazardous to swim in ? I sort of want to have swimming(both player and NPCs) in the next game. Exploring partly flooded labs would be pretty neat, don't you think :v: ?

They should be, as far as I know the Pripyat river and the surrounding marshlands are all irradiated.
Whats the name of the file(and it's location) that shows the health bar in SHOC?
I unloaded a RPG in redux and got 3 rocket propelled grenades, :wtc:
I got six once.
I installed sgm and the blackbyte version and the patches and translations.
Now I stare in awe at the beautyfull world that is sgm only to see that every item icon is broken and my medkit is a scientific suit and that my weapon is a boot.
Help.
ah, the aimbot sniper. Did you got in during the night? If so, try that out. If he still kills you, approach from the outside, then kill him (and everyone you can) and retreat to the underground. Exit through the tunnel and ta-da! You got a free ticket in Agroprom! Bonus points if you make the guys inside the base chase you towards the entrance to the sewers at the factory.
I never did try going in at night. Yeah, I'll try that. Good idea.

Don't forget that the base isn't all that guarded at night, so you can sneak through to the documents, except for the last two guys on the top floor, they have a permament shift. If you still have the silenced makarov from Cordon you can use it to shoot out the alarm siren in Agroprom from a distance, that'll allow you to engage in shootouts and not alert every military unit and the helicopters in Agroprom of your presence.
found streloks rifle and turns out i can use the silencer and scope ive been carrying around for weeks

You... You can shoot out the alarm? WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED OF THIS?
You... You can shoot out the alarm? WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED OF THIS?
Yep. You can also shoot out the alarm in Rostok and if there is one, it might be possible in Army Warehouses as well.
You... You can shoot out the alarm? WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED OF THIS?
The alarm affected their state of alertness? I thought the alarm was irrelevant; that they were alerted by Oblivion-style telepathy with their comrades.

Nah, the guys that patrol the surrounding roads and the guys on the other sides of the base aren't alerted. And the helicopters don't patrol the region either, I think. That way you have a bigger element of suprise against let's say, the North-West entrance to the base since they don't go into a state of readiness and stay like that until you leave the level.
I walked into the Oasis while listening to a youtube playlist I set up many years ago, and this song came on

I MISSED RAYMAN 2 THAT MOMENT :smith:
The song fit perfectly.

Oh god, you just found the ultimate theme for the Oasis.
Now that you say it, listening to Rayman 2 while playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R, even controllers can't stop me.
What the hell man. I slept until 3:00AM and then went up through the Agroprom Underground. He still sees me instantly and snipes me.

Then do what I said before: snipe him from the outside, along with all the other snipers and the guys outside, then retreat back to the sewer entrance and go through the underground again.
What's the problem with just spraying in his general direction until you're out of ammo, then shoot the rest with your backup/six other firearms?
All these casuals listen to Rayman 2, not knowing the wizardly glory of Rayman 1 soundtrack.

The fact there's about six other soldiers, all of whom kill you instantly with one shot.
And, you know, the two military helicopters that are fond of shooting three fucking missiles at you.

Yeah, I tried that, going out the entrance. As soon as I crest the hill and start looking for him, BAM! Dead.
And before anyone asks, no, I don't have my headlamp on, and I am crouch-walking the entire distance. This is getting to be ridiculous. :geno:
I really wish I had a scope, though... Maybe I could counter-snipe the fucker.
[editline]taco (ho oh oh, you were expecting fish, weren't you?)[/editline]
Well, I managed to get that damn sniper. I ended up taking a long-ass route around, and hiding behind the post thingy that pokes up from the Underground. Yay. :v:

Which reminds me that there are some awesome platformer themes that I can use to break the shitty feeling of People Soup DMX's "gonna crash the next minute".

If you're feeling lucky you might as well as try shooting the other snipers and the guys at the outposts.
Hey guys, I'm stuck in the soup. So I'm in Agroprom underground, at the ladder to Strelok's stash, but when I try to go in I get warped to the stairway at the end of the hall (way left of the ladder). What am I missing to get in there?
All these casuals listen to Rayman 2, not knowing the wizardly glory of Rayman 1 soundtrack.
Rayman 1 is awesome, but I felt like the "sad and dramatic" music from Rayman 2 fitted better.
AMK 1.4 problemos, every time I try to ask someone for a job I crash to the desktop. Here's the log entry:
Expression : fatal error
Function : CScriptEngine::lua_error
File : E:\stalker\patch_1_0004\xr_3da\xrGame\script_engine.cpp

Help, I just fixed that fucking texture error that I asked about a while back and now this is the only thing that stands between me and continuing into the zone without error.

Go back and locate some anomalies that disappear near you. After a while go to the spiral staircase and it'll teleport you to the stash.
Another similar error, strange.
