I'm doing my first playthrough of Shadow of Chernobyl and I came to the part with ~4 bandits right after the military bullshit at that bridge on the way to Agroprom. Now, I'm not the best shot, in that I had fired ~100 bullets and only had 2 kills. So, I decided to "fuck that shit" and go back to the faggots at the railroad to kill them and get their rifles. I now realize that instead of fighting ~4 bandits I killed 5 soldiers. I'm going to love this game.
Attack the military outpost to the south of the rookie village.
As I have said before, I am a wizard and my computer was built by me. Put it together in '07 as a budget replacement build for $600 and upgraded my 9600GT to a GTX460 last year. Many people tell me that certain games that I play can't possibly run at 60fps but they do. I used to get 50fps Crysis maxed with my old 9600GT. The only games I can't run without lag are GTA 4 and Oblivion.
Kind of late, 2 days to be exact, but Kingo you are a wizard.
Teehee. I see what you did there Psychokitten.
To me in Blackbyte NPCs take 5000% more bullets before they die, but I haven't played normal SGM in a while so it might be the same in normal SGM. But I honestly prefer normal SGM, only good thing in Blackbyte is atmosfear.
Well whats the difference between them except Atmosfear? Atmosfear can't be.. what.. 900 mb by itself, right?
I can barely run this thing. Sure it runs, but it lags. Any way to fix this? Specs: Processor Intel® Atom™ Processor N270 • 1.60GHz, 512KB L2, 533Mhz FSB Standard memory 311-1000CA: 1024MB 311-1033CA: 2048MB memory layout 311-1000CA: 1 x 1024 MB 311-1033CA: 1 x 2048 MB Maximum memory 3072MB Memory type 311-1000CA: DDR3 System Memory 311-1033CA: DDR3 System Memory (1 Dimm) Nvidia ION Internal drives Internal hard disk drive 311-1000CA: 160GB 311-1033CA: 250GB Hard disk controller SATA Hard disk drive speed 5400RPM
By the way, thinking of getting Spartan 11:11 for Clear Sky. I heard it was really, really hard. Is it?
I can barely run this thing. Sure it runs, but it lags. Any way to fix this? Specs:blahblah
What gpu do you have? XP, or Vista/7? SoC, CS, or CoP? Have you tried Kingo64's optimised shaders (they improve performance)? Updated all drivers? Defragged your HDDs? Turned down the settings ingame? Also, consider getting at least 2GB of RAM, and I'm not exactly knowledgeable on CPUs but your CPU looks kinda weak.
Scrasy...dooms mod worked just fine on my last computer but after the 1000$ upgrade I can't see shit just darkness and the lonely moon...
Hi
It's hard, but awesome.
I'll get it
It's hard, but awesome.
Just like my dick. :v:
Anyways, how do you add mods again? [editline]27th April 2011[/editline] Spartan saved as an .ace file, what is that?
Whoever suggested People Soup + DMZ Have my babies. There are so many fucking items my god, I'm not even out of Cordon and there are literally over twenty different pistols. This is heaven to me.
Aren't most mods like that these days? Still, aside from the weapons and stuff, I just want people soup because it sounds insane and hilarious! Damn my 32bit and RAM. My dad said he could just snatch a copy of windows 7 64bit from his work since they have a ton that they dont use, but I gotta sort out what shit to put on disks and I've been too busy to...
Anyways, how do you add mods again? [editline]27th April 2011[/editline] Spartan saved as an .ace file, what is that?
I wondered the same thing. It's a rather obscure archive format. You can open them with WinRAR.
SGM. If it's the mod I remember it being, it was a lot of fun. Redux felt very bare-bones and 'eh'. As I said, I may have the mods all wrong, but the last I played what I thought was redux, the new weapons didn't even have proper animations.
Redux doesn't have new weapons, you're probably thinking of SMRTER.

Get a new PC.
You could probably make it run on that, with stalker shaders max and a custom user.ltx, setting all graphics options at the very very minimum.
I just managed to steal the documents from the Cordon outpost without firing a shot and without being detected at all. :buddy:
Using a mod? If vanilla, I'm impressed.
I'm using my mod setup based on Complete 09. I checked and it doesn't have any changes to AI awareness, so I think that part counts as vanilla. I recorded the whole thing too. The most stressful part was going through the minefield, I must have thrown several kilograms worth of bolts. :v:

Err, did I miss something? How is this post amusing?
Just like my dick. :v:
So I guess it's a pretty short mod :v:?
I finally realized how to kill civilian zombies. Shoot him in the face. Aaaand then just zerg to his non-dead corpse and stab the undead radiactive fuck out of him with your knife. Not slash but stab. It deals such immense damage the guy drops after he "dies" twice. If you'd use boolets it'd take around 400 rounds to drop one. I can drop a zombie with three rounds and a knife. Also, Oblivion Lost on wizard difficulty sure likes it's hostile AI. Bar got rushed by bandits from the Garbage and Monolith from the Warehouses. What the fuck was Freedom doing, giving them a cup of fucking coffee?
Or you could shoot him in the head twice.
Or you could shoot him in the head twice.
He would keep getting up regardless of where you shoot him. Tried with the Big Ben, he got up after I shot him down with headshots 30 times.
Well that's just stupid When I played OL I found it pretty useful to just bait zombies into bandit camps
He would keep getting up regardless of where you shoot him. In OL, it took me usually no more than 5 rounds of 5.56 to permanently kill a downed zombie.
You must be doing something wrong. In OL, it took me usually no more than 5 rounds of 5.56 to permanently kill a downed zombie.
I think he means that he shot the zombie down, then shot it again after it had gotten up.
