Here you go Sgt. Doom. http://filesmelt.com/dl/Extended_Grass_Range.rar I've finally gotten uncapped and on my new internet plan. Getting 12mb/s in Australia, apparently that is like the top 1% in the country.

I finally got back into STALKER CoP and beat it, great game
So I'm looking for the most amazing graphical mods for Call of Pripyat. I'll be mixing a lot of them.
So I'm looking for the most amazing graphical mods for Call of Pripyat. I'll be mixing a lot of them.
I Work Alone is indescribably beautiful.
So I picked up CoP, installed it and within 50 seconds of starting the game this fucking mutant thing comes and rapes me to death. :wtc: [editline]30th April 2011[/editline] FUCKING BLIND DOGS. [editline]30th April 2011[/editline] Oh god I just fell down into the Snork nest. :ohdear:
I'm thinking about how to make pseudogiants more difficult in my mod setup, because I find that encounters with them are always pretty anticlimactic, even after I toughened them up. Some bursts from an AK here, a grenade or two there, and BOOM - dead. I thought maybe I could make them invulnerable (or almost invulnerable) to bullets entirely, so the only thing that can hurt them effectively is explosives. This may not make a great deal of sense but it's not game breaking, since pseudogiants are rare and can usually be avoided, and explosives aren't that hard to come by. I'd like some input on the idea, is it good or bad?
Welp, just found out I can't crossfire gpu's because my dad bought a Micro ATX case due to "atx cases being like $600 more" :saddowns: [editline]29th April 2011[/editline] also I usually buy my own parts, but the mobo was a gift [editline]29th April 2011[/editline] god i sound like a 12 year old [editline]29th April 2011[/editline] with style [editline]29th April 2011[/editline] anyway got a copy of Windows 7 Pro 64bit That's over 63 bits of pro
Multiple GPUs are a joke, unless you have some 5000x3000 monitor
Up the cost of goods, make enemies have actual ammo limits so if you have a prolonged battle you won't find anything from their corpses. A Redux style economy where it's difficult just to have enough money for basic shit would be cool.
That really only postpones the problem. The only true solution to make the game more challenging throughout is more intelligent AI.
Here you go Sgt. Doom.
Multiple GPUs are a joke, unless you have some 5000x3000 monitor
Doesn't games run better when you have 2 GPUs?
Multiple GPUs are a joke, unless you have some 5000x3000 monitor
Not at all. SLI is a huge boost in performance - SLI two GTX460's together and you have the power of a 580 for much less cost.

Is it explained why he came to the zone in the first place and when?
There are no such thing as "Alcohol poisoning" here in Finland
Everyone East of Austria has alcohol for blood. [editline]30th April 2011[/editline] Damn, I can't find the translated book pdfs anymore.
Oh look I am no longer banned thanks to the idiot sleeping downstairs. Yes, I have hit him enough times.
I took it from the wiki. But i can't get my hands on the books so I can't know.
I heard the books were shit and really don't follow the lore of the Zone much at all.
I heard the books were shit and really don't follow the lore of the Zone much at all.
Yea, they got a lot of flak from all sides. Then again, what did you expect? There are over 40 books written in three or four years, unless they didn't hire the greatest writers in Russia and Ukraine to do the job for them at least 90% of the books are bound to be mediocre or shit.
Not at all. SLI is a huge boost in performance - SLI two GTX460's together and you have the power of a 580 for much less cost.
With a single GTX460 I can run pretty much anything at 1920x1080
I heard the books were shit and really don't follow the lore of the Zone much at all.
The first 3 books by German authors were pretty good though.
With a single GTX460 I can run pretty much anything at 1920x1080
Run anything /=/ Run everything on all max settings It's a huge boost in power for a relatively cheap cost, and it's not something to turn your nose up at ;) Also: HOLY SHIT.
Dinamic music mode activate ! HOLY SHIT THE TRAIN STATION IS JUST LIKE JUPITER. I think I saw Zaton too. GSC knows how to make areas.
