Haha, installed Codename: Outbreak last night.

It's even more unstable than Clear Sky. At least Clear Sky didn't crash in the freaking menus :v: .

Here's what I like about it so far
+Open-ish environments.
+Giving commands to squadmates (I would've liked to have this sort of system for CoP, especially in the missions where you have A.I friendlies ). Simple stuff like open/hold fire, wait here etc. Also, you can switch between teammates.
+You can choose which teammates you choose for each mission and their stats in the various stuff like accuracy,demolitions,speed,strength and health differ from each other so you sort of want to take different men for different situations. Also, they gain experience from missions.
+Corpse looting a bit like STALKER
+Inventory management, also incorportes weight limits.

What I don't like
-Voice acting. It's horrible.
-The aforementioned instability. It crashes kind of randomly but it's annoying as hell. First time it crashed in the team menus where you can choose their weapons, armour etc. The second time it crashed 2 seconds into the actual game when I tried to fire a gun for the first time.
-You'll have to navigate through too many menus if you want to permasave.
-The inventory is quite clunky.

Basically it takes me 2 minutes to load a saved game and 10 to load a different level on SoC
same for CoP, but i am more worried about SoC because i have not played any stalker games

I asked 2 forums. No working solutions (steam forums was the only one where i got a response).
I asked THQ. No working solution. (theres was to mess with the start up, disable firewall, and reinstall)
I asked steam 6 days ago... no response :c
Figure i might as well try FP since theres lots of ya here

NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
2.87 AMD Athlon II X2
5 GB of RAM
HDD's are 7200RPM

Oh man I've modified my LURK so much, I'll just edit the shotguns accuracy a bit, remove the sway and modify the ammo weights and I think I'll upload it as a "Casual Patch"

Here's my "Causual Patch" for LURK
Includes better suit degeneration, better protection for SEVA and Angel of Freedom suits. Realistic ammo weights, no sway when aiming. AS VAL is now as reliable as the Groza, Groza has a scope. And uh I think that's it.
