Because I have a scoped moist nugget? In my LURK save, that is.
The nugget models look terrible, because they make it look like the dimensions are something like 30:1:1. In other words, it looks like a stick.

Well I love my stick. :colbert:
I personally love pretty much every weapon using 9x39 in lurk.
Low recoil and no damage :colbert:
That's why it's got a 71 round drum mag, silly. I mainly use it to dispatch hordes of dogs (very effective, I might add), and has proven effective against large numbers of human targets if one fires at the head in short bursts.
Well I love my stick. :colbert:
I really hate the iron sights on the nugget, though; fat ass block allowing no real accuracy.

Generally speaking, I love the Val and like the Vintorez, but I can't stand the Groza. It is a perfectly effective weapon, I just don't like its looks (especially the sights).
Of the original lineup of weapons, my favourite general purpose rifle is still the SIG SG-550. Traditional layout, excellent reliability and accuracy, and I like the iron sights. I found I really liked the FN FNC in LURK for a lot of the same reasons.

That's why the scoped version is infinetly better.
That's why the scoped version is infinetly better.
At the point the scoped version becomes available, I usually already have an SVD or SVU, making the scoped nugget pointless.

I just had the luck to get it early on, which is good because you can take down the military in the cordon easily and you can piss away the hind with it without getting hit by a rocket. I always switch for an SVD when I find one, tho.
It was fulfilled by inspiration created from you. :v:
I managed to get them working once but I can't remember how. Can anyone tell me where the icons folder is located ?
I've heard in people soup you need like 10 different weapons because ammo is so scarce?
[editline]1st May 2011[/editline]
It just looks so interesting and fun :v:
Ammo is really scarce early in. You're pretty much stuck with 9x18 and 9x19 until you see the military for the first time. You grab, if lucky, about 400-800 rounds there total. Which won't last long. By Yantar, you're ammo should be really, really scarce. I was having to dig through radioactive corpses just for my next shot. I think I walked out with about 20 ammo for my Strelok - AKS, and a few pistol rounds.
However, once you start fighting Monolith, you start drowning in the NATO caliber. I have about 700 rounds still.
Speaking of ammo in People Soup: 12x70, where art thou?
Low recoil and no damage :colbert:
In LURK it takes 2-3 shots to kill a leather jacket bandit, 5 or so to kill a military NPC.
It has a 71 round drum mag, no recoil, fast fire rate. Ammo is incredibly common in Cordon/Garbage, I only stopped using it after I got the military documents because I didn't like carrying around a 4 kg gun with no ammo.

Buy it from Adrenaline (In Agroprom, in the building where Mole is), trade sparklers (They're everywhere in Wild Territory) to Sakharov. One sparkler is 5 packs of buckshot.

Hopefully one day I'll actually reach them. Damn People Soup DMX crashing every once in a while, it makes some stuff impossible to accomplish.
Speaking of PSDMX, any news on the next version? Darius apparently moved to a new home and the progress slowed down a bit, but it should be in final stages now.
Hey guys, I got a crash, heres the error:

Meanwhile, here's a quote from a curious user on SPUF regarding Narodnaya Solyanka/People Soup:
"What is the difference between this and the complete mod? Or are they the same thing?"

fuck sake
Also, the words "complete mod" in that quote link to the megathread of Complete on SPUF.
LWR has finally completed. After several retries at a download capped at 50 kbps.
It took twenty four hours, please let it be worth it.
I have went in 3 threads at random.
Guess how many had completo on their first walkthrough
There's no use advocating to not use complete outside of this thread, the tidal wave of fail that surges you if you even remotely somewhat regard it as not the best mod that has ever graced our feeble minds, you are spit upon and flamed. Fuck Pavel. Fuck his fanboys.
And where is he now? I'll tell you. He has become one with the soup.
Actually I stopped because no one cared, so I decided to stop wasting my time.
:buddy:
Someone tells them complete is not perfect.
YOU HAVE 1 REP YOUY CAN't GIVE PROTIPS GET OUT :downs:
Installed it from the iso. Crash on startup.
Time to download patches.
So I just read page 97, the discussion of the purely Russian mod.
Has Blaberry gotten a working install up on his FTP? And if no one has bothered to translate it yet, I can give it a try. I'll probably translate everything before I even bother installing the mod, so I won't fall into the pitfall I did with translating People Soup (Translate one thing, spend five hours playing).
One thing though: How are the loading times with the Russian mod, compared to the Soup? I may not even bother playing it if I have enough time to make some fucking toast in between quicksave loads. :geno:
Before anyone asks, no, I do not know Russian. If I do end up translating the Russian mod for you guys, it's going to go like this: Russian dialog -> Google Translate -> me using creativity and (what I believe to be) a good grasp of broken English to make it actually seem natural English. Again, if people want me to.
If people want me to translate the mod, rate this post agree. Let's keep things organized.
