I'm not having any luck with Stalker these days, Can't get people soup to work, I suppose it's because I'm not running 1.004 of SoC, but the most recent, thanks to Steam

People Soup works on 1.0005. Runs better than it did on 1.0004 for me...

Interesting, Stalker crashes on startup with it installed for me

Just found the issue. I changed the false to true in the fsgame.ltx but closed it without saving I guess, so it was still False. God I'm fucking dumb sometimes, though that shouldn't cause it to crash either, I wouldn't think anyway

Has anyone made it to the CoP areas in People Soup? I honestly made it to the NPP went back to Pripyat and just went "fuck it."

Okay, well, I recorded a video of the event happening. I picked a save a few minutes before it happened, and it happened literally right as I spawned. Unfortunately, it appears either FRAPS does not record the sound for STALKER, or I forgot to tell it to. At any rate, I am now going to record the sound via Audacity. I also have another video I'm going to record that I want to show off to you guys. Give me half an hour. :shobon:

Or you could just stream it.

Only the paid edition of FRAPS records sound.

It's just that it does crash with a task manager related error when you have the wrong patch. And it's not like you said which patch you used, so would you rather get an assumption, or just nothing at all? :colbert:

At any rate, the second recording failed because I can't set Audacity to record What U Hear. I can't even change the record method - the drop-down box is grayed out. Hopefully you'll have responded regarding the questions about stream (and how to set up a stream as well; I've no idea how) by the time I'm eating, so I can get this done. I just stabbed Doc in the face with a machete, he's now running around Pripyat beating the shit out of things with his fist. He keeps looting grenades off of dead bodies and hunting me down throwing them at me, I'm too afraid to go into a place and sleep cause I think I'll wake up with him right in my face.

Stalker Complete is the only mod that gives me the confidence to venture out at night since sneaking actually works... Just wish it had more items and weapons and shit. I snuck into the Warehouse from the Bar (I've beaten SoC a few times, I only like to play with mods that have Free Mode now for the most part) And came up on 4 guys sitting around a fire and what do I have in my back pocket? A nice frag. I sneak about 30 feet away, toss it in the middle of the group, send 2 bodies flying, One guy starts to stand up, the other is still sitting there, Put a few rounds into both and down they went... Those guys had LR300's, a storage box next to them had 5 LR300's in it, Ammo, bandages, food. I was set Ah Night time, I'm not scared of you anymore. Great, as I attempt to flee Pripyat from him I crash on transition.

Trying to get People Soup, but using the links from the OP gets me an error saying "cannot open as archive" in 7Zip. This is the third time I've tried. What do I do?
