People like the new anomaly system? what the hell
I liked the CS system best where there were anomalous formations like Call of Pripyat but occasionally you'd get a few random anomalies thrown in the mix too so that it wasn't like CoP where you never have watch out where you are going etc. The more I think about it I get the feeling that GSC designed Call of Pripyat so it could be played without quicksaves but that also makes the game way too effortless if you're experienced in the first two titles especially since there's not much randomness to mix things up like Shadow of Chernobyl. e: I hated the lockdown thingy because too many times I had adventured outside Skadovsk and after I come back the base is in perpetual lockdown and I hadn't even shot any stalkers or bandits. Thankfully Redux removes that and doesn't force you to holster your weapon inside bases.
Question, what's thsi dybnamic music all about? Does it change the music depending on the situation? 'cause I don't remember hearing music in SoC, much less this one:
I think that's the "combat music" but it's not on by default and you can disable/enable it in game options.
Well, they seem a bit harder to spot but the gigantic rifts on the ground and whatnot are fucking amazing.
Yes, I like the clusters, but there's ZERO random anomalies scattered around. You can sprint from one end of the map to other with no danger at all, since nothing can actually catch up to you and there's no anomalies you have to be careful of. I obviously like the detector system, but without random anomalies the game becomes about 500% faster to complete, and it's really fucking easy to begin with
Why I like SGM, so many YASDs.

IMO it helps me to stay sharp during the battle.

I have found some anomalies that were not located in a cluster. And the new monster AI is pretty good, too. Just wish my game had less lag.
Huh? I have found some anomalies that were not located in a cluster. And the new monster AI is pretty good, too. In Garbage you'd die.
I hope WotW doesn't have CoP's weapon handling stuff. I wish that guns behaved like in SoC as opposed to swaying around and looking stupid when you shoot [editline]8th May 2011[/editline] Also those awful vanilla weapon sounds, and bullets flying in random directions from a tracer
People like the new anomaly system? what the hell
It's a significant improvement over SoC and CS, but the lack of random anomalies outside of anomaly zones is its downfall. Something I'm fixing in WotW :smug:

Like where they are in relation to the preexisting areas, or what is in them?

Also, I like the CS/CoP reload animations more. But everyone has their own preferences... The weapon sounds I agree with. They're horrible in both CS and CoP vanilla. I'm too poor to afford that, damnit :smith: .
I'm too poor to afford that, damnit :smith: .
are you too poor to empty a few bullets into his face
Do you think you could give us any information on the new original areas you plan on adding? Like where they are in relation to the preexisting areas, or what is in them?
Not yet I'm afraid :(
are you too poor to empty a few bullets into his face
I recall considering that but he was surrounded by his buddies and I had just come back from an artifact hunt(in addition of having no medkits) so I decided to not risk it because I'm sticking with the no quicksave-rule. Now, if it was a PKM I would've definitely fragged them from a safe distance.
What program must I use to open the People Soup from the repository ? They're 001/002/003 files and Winrar can't seem to do it.

Sadly, I couldn't loot the money he stole from me. I looted everything else, though. :v:

Tuna is a douchebag. [editline]8th May 2011[/editline] Whit a bullet in his head that is.

So I was talking to one of my friends about stalker, telling him some of the things he should expect if he ever decides to buy it. After I finish weaving a tale that happened a while back he replies with this 2:38 PM - Space bats: makarov? 2:38 PM - Space bats: Is that some sort of Russian Knife?
The only thing wrong with your plan is the dogs will murder everyone including you in the entire area.
Run away, run back in after the digs have dispersed. Plus dogs are easier to kill that RPG bandits.
Bandits are large targets. Dogs are small and there are at least five of them. We must make dogs wield RPGs.
Bandits are large targets. Dogs are small and there are at least five of them. We must make dogs wield RPGs.
You can't avoid bandit fire but yo ucan easily avoid getting hit by dogs. We must make bandits wield dogs.

RPG with dogs for rockets.
Dogs that bark rockets :ohdear:
Bandits that throw dogs that bark rockets, which explode into miniature dogs.
Add it as an Easter egg to WotW [editline]8th May 2011[/editline] The zone can create crazy things.
